Welcome to this reading from the I Ching,

Receiving Guidance for March 2026.

I Ching is a participatory experience,

Meaning that your own inner wisdom and guidance plays a very important part of the messages that you will receive.

And so to support this receptivity,

This openness,

These insights,

Some preparation is helpful.

Please support your body now by allowing it to find a comfortable or relaxed position.

And then noticing the breath.

As you intentionally slow the breath down,

Let your exhalation be longer than the inhalation if possible.

Feel yourself grounding down,

Quietening the mind and softening your heart.

Placing your hands in front of heart center or over the top center area of your chest.

Let's set an intention together.

I trust the information I am receiving from these ancient teachings along with my own inner guidance is aligned with my highest good and for the greater good of all.

You can affirm this by saying I trust.

And then on the exhalation relax the hands.

Keep the body relaxed.

And if at any point you feel that you are needing support,

Please place a hand gently on your forehead.

So looking to the I Ching now,

The guidance we are receiving for this time of March 2026 is from hexagram number 38.

This is sometimes entitled Diverging and also translated into Opposition.

We see the symbols of fire and water as the primary elements.

Fire is lifting up,

It's at the top of the hexagram.

Water is moving downwards,

It's in the lower trigram.

So because of the positioning of these two symbols,

It creates tension and indicates these opposing forces which often dance together in harmony in this situation are moving apart.

And so this can create some friction,

Some uncomfortableness.

And at these times where one encounters situations,

Relationships or communications that seem to feel to aggravate one,

Before you respond outwardly with a knee-jerk reaction,

The I Ching asks us to remember that the person on the other end is just that,

Another person with their own feelings,

Their own beliefs,

Their own stories.

And so to give some space to any and all situations of conflict.

Perhaps even take a step back and before replying or engaging or addressing,

Pause,

Connect to your heart.

Connect to the other's heart if you are able to.

And then with your heart open,

Ask for the most appropriate and supportive guidance,

Not only for you in that situation,

For the other and the entire dynamic.

We are also reminded in this teaching that these conflicts are here for the reason of growth.

And so once we've gone through the process,

We can look back and when we have learned something that is supportive for us to move forward with,

That is uplifting because it's nourishing and it's life-giving.

Another beautiful message is that this too shall pass and soon harmony will return because we are dealing with fire and water that we know to have the ability to commune successfully.

And there will come a time for that again where there will be harmony in the related circumstance where there is currently conflict.

The I Ching says,

Don't try to sort everything out at once when things are going badly.

You will get back to a harmonious situation by taking things one step at a time.

Retaining your integrity of freedom of thought and will are the most important things in life.

Returning to the breath,

Relaxing the body,

Opening the heart and the mind,

Ask of yourself now how this message applies to you and your life.

Perhaps it is directly speaking to something that is already occurring and sometimes it is more further afield.

It can also be connected to worldly affairs which affect us all.

Take a moment to consider this.

And once you've received,

Exhale and give thanks for your insights,

Your wisdom and for the ongoing inner guidance you will receive over time.

One final message from this teaching is about healing broken bridges.

And if there are any of these in your life,

Bring them into your heart center and ask for guidance on those.

If you would like more guidance on this particular hexagram,

You can find hexagram 38 as part of the I Ching playlist.

And this is available for you at the bottom of my profile page.

I'm Helen Hansen and I'm wishing you well during this time where our heart centeredness is really being called for.

Oh Helen, thank you for this recording, I missed the live reading and listening to this now, it is so... yes...wow. It very much reflects what I have already received as guidance as I've been feeling into the energy of March (and possibly even April). 🐢💗
