Ce que vous apprendrez
With the pressures of work, family responsibilities, and the constant stream of information from our digital devices accumulate, it's easy to feel overwhelmed and disconnected from ourselves. Many of us find ourselves constantly flooded with stress, anxiety, and negativity. The brain has a natural bias towards negativity and negative experiences tend to trigger stronger emotional responses. By intentionally focusing on positive experiences and finding a more balanced perspective, you can train your brain to be more stable and optimistic. Grounding your mind in goodness works to create inner stability by connecting your state of mind to what is good - essentially, redirecting your attention away from anxious or distressing thoughts and towards thoughts that are pleasant, comforting, and enjoyable. The more you can recognize positivity and appreciate the good, the more you can tap into moments of joy, connection, and fulfillment. This course offers you practical mindfulness-based grounding techniques to overcome stress, anxiety, and overwhelm. Learning and practicing self-regulation tools builds your emotional regulation toolkit, giving you coping strategies for managing difficult emotions. You’ll be prepared for stressful moments and better be able to ease your thoughts and emotions and feel more safe and connected, a powerful skill to counteract against stress, anxiety, and overwhelm. This course is intended for all levels of awareness and practice. The lessons and practices are designed as a mindful exploration of your mental and emotional patterns, but is not intended as therapy or treatment from a mental health professional.

The Power Of Grounding
Grounding works by redirecting the focus away from anxious or negative thoughts and into the present moment. Taking your mind away from internal distress and re-orienting to the external world to create inner stability by connecting your state of mind to what is good. When you are in a grounded state, you can respond to your emotions in a more adaptive and constructive manner and navigate life's challenges with greater ease and balance.
Leçon 2
The Connection Between Mindset And Your Nervous System
Your thoughts influence the state of your nervous system because negative thinking causes cycles of stress and nervous system dysregulation. The state of your nervous system also influences your thoughts. Our thoughts tend to be more negative and fear-based during times of higher stress or anxiety. Learning how to regulate your nervous system and using strategies to cope with stress are important to becoming more emotionally balanced.

Focusing On The Good
Directing your attention towards the positive aspects of life, such as gratitude, kindness, and joy, can bring more of these experiences into your reality. Being able to shift your thoughts and reframe them into a more positive perspective involves challenging the brain’s negativity bias. By consciously focusing on what is good, you can train your brain to notice, enhance, and soak in moments of positivity.

Cultivating Gratitude
Acknowledging and appreciating the big and small things that you value and make our lives better sets your mind in a more positive direction. Incorporating a daily gratitude practice into your life can gradually rewire your brain to focus on the positive and help you feel more fulfilled, resilient, and connected.

Growing Your Glimmers
Recognizing the glimmers in your life and paying attention to these subtle signals for inner safety can help you shift out of dysregulation. These positive experiences bring you into regulation by sending throughout your nervous system that you are calm, safe, and secure. Making an intentional effort to engage in activities that bring you joy creates more opportunities to experience glimmers of positivity and connection.
