You’ll practice simple, science-backed techniques to: understand why your nervous system drives reactive behavior; reset your body and mind at the start, middle, and end of your day; interrupt reactivity before it escalates; repair and release guilt after difficult moments and build awareness so reactivity naturally decreases over time. This course is for parents who are: overwhelmed and overstimulated, struggling to respond instead of react, tired of guilt or frustration after parenting moments, and ready to feel calm, present, and intentional in their parenting. When you regulate your nervous system, everything changes: your reactions soften, your presence deepens, and your connection with your children grows stronger. It’s not about being perfect. It’s about being regulated. And this reset will help you get there.


Meet your Teacher

Courtney Johannesen is a conscious parenting educator who helps parents regulate their emotions, calm their nervous systems, and break reactive cycles. Her work blends mindfulness, breathwork, and nervous system awareness to support calm, connected parenting in real-life moments of stress and overwhelm. In addition to working directly with parents, Courtney partners with practitioners, schools, and organizations to teach emotional regulation and conscious communication practices. Through guided meditations, courses, and trainings, she supports both families and professionals in creating more regulated, compassionate environments.
