By the end of the course, you will be more tuned in to the joy that is available to you, and you’ll discover that joy is more than just a temporary burst of happiness - it’s a mindset and a state of being that can permeate every aspect of your life. You’ll understand how joy can help you navigate challenges and times of uncertainty, improve your interactions and relationships, offer you hope and perspective, and serve as a guide that keeps you in alignment with what’s most important to you. You'll be inspired to continue finding ways to cultivate joy, making joy a regular practice that you can carry forward beyond this course. An Exploration Of Joy
In today's lesson, we'll take a closer look at what joy is, the benefits of joy, and the variety of ways you can experience it. Then you'll be guided through a visualization where you'll be asked to recall a joyful memory from the past to help you embody the feeling of joy. You'll also have the chance to imagine what your life would be like if you experienced joy more often. (Music by Chris Collins)

Joy In The Ordinary Moments
In today's lesson, we'll discuss how to find joy in the little things. You'll be introduced to a mindfulness exercise to practice slowing down and savoring the pleasant moments in ordinary activities. Then we'll share a "mindful cup of tea" (or any beverage you prefer) to demonstrate how you can find a sense of peace, wonder, and satisfaction when you are present and tuned in to the little pleasures available to you. Joyful Activities & Sharing Joy With Others
In today's lesson, we'll discuss the value of engaging in fun and fulfilling activities and sharing joy with other people. We'll also take a look at how you can spread joy through acts of kindness and care. You'll then be guided through a Loving-Kindness Meditation, to practice offering kindness to yourself and others. Smiling, Laughter, And Play
In today's lesson, we'll discuss some of the fundamental sources of joy - smiling, laughter, and play. You'll get an opportunity to be playful and find joy through movement by creating your very own "happy dance." No dance skills are required - the goal is to embody a feeling of joy and express it through movement, in whatever way feels right for you. Let the joy move through you and have fun with it! Creating A Joy Practice
In the final lesson, we'll discuss how you can create your own "joy practice." I'll provide suggestions for how you can begin to make joy a regular part of your routine. Then we'll end with affirmations for happiness and well-being, to give you some encouragement and inspiration on your path forward. (Music by Chris Collins)
