If you’re looking for ways to make more time for rest and bring more relaxation, ease, and peace into your life, then this is the course for you. This course is especially helpful for those who are experiencing burnout or have a busy schedule and an active mind. Through 5 daily sessions you’ll be guided through meditations and practices to help calm your body and mind, support your ability to get good rest, and offer yourself encouragement and inspiration for getting the rest you need and deserve. By the end, you’ll have a variety of new ideas for how to bring more rest into your life so that you can reduce stress and anxiety, increase clarity and focus, improve your mood and outlook, increase energy and motivation, and move forward with a sense of stability and poise.


Meet your Teacher

Melanie is a mindfulness and meditation teacher, psychotherapist, and coach dedicated to helping you feel more calm, clear, and confident. She specializes in helping you find work-life balance, recover from burnout, and change your relationship with stress by first creating a better relationship with yourself. Through the use of relaxation techniques, visualization, self-reflection, and self-compassion, she can support you in feeling more empowered and at ease.

Lesson 1

A Little Rest Can Go A Long Way

In this session we discuss different ways to rest and how to make time for rest when life gets busy. You will be guided through three simple and practical breathing exercises to help relax your body and mind when you don’t have a lot of time.

Calm Body, Calm Mind

In this session we discuss the importance of paying attention to the signals that your body sends you to indicate when you need a break. You will be guided through a body scan meditation designed to help you focus your awareness on the physical sensations in your body and release any tension you might be holding.

Journey To A Calm Place

In this session we discuss how to create the right conditions and environment to support your ability to get some rest. You will be guided through a visualization of your dream vacation to generate feelings of enjoyment and peace within you and to offer you some relief from any stress you might be feeling. Set Aside Your Worries & Find Peace

In this session we discuss different strategies for dealing with an active mind that allow you to set aside your worries and give your mind a break. You will be guided through a meditation specifically designed to be used at the end of the day to release the events, circumstances, and challenges of the day, so you can rest and find some peace. You Deserve A Break

In this session we discuss the importance of taking a closer look at what keeps you busy and what stands in the way of bringing more rest and relaxation into your life.
