Let's start by sitting somewhere comfortably.

This heart-centered meditation is better done sitting,

Although you can lie down if you'd like.

And begin to breathe deeply and evenly in through your nose and out through your mouth.

And I want you to take your hand and place it right on your heart.

Focus your attention inward to the beating of your heart until you can feel it and find the rhythm.

Feel your heart beating,

Sending life energy through your body.

Be patient with yourself if you're having a little bit of a difficult time feeling the beating of your heart.

And now as you breathe in and out,

I want you to imagine that breath coming right directly in to your heart space and back out of your heart space.

Visualize the breath coming in and out of your heart.

Feel the rhythm between your heartbeat and your breath.

And now I'd like you to picture in your mind what love looks like to you.

This could be a color,

An energy,

A shape,

A person,

A pet,

A place.

It can be anything that you wish it to be because this is what love symbolizes to you.

Feel how your mind and body react to visualizing this love,

How quickly and easily we can change the state of mind we're in or the physiological symptoms in our body,

Bringing them to a place of peace and love.

Hold this visualization in your mind as you continue to breathe in that energy right in and out of your heart space.

And know that you can come back to this place at any time.

Endlessly,

You're able to shift your mood and you are welcome to stay in this safe,

Loving space for as long as you'd like.

And you can end this meditation on your own.
