Motherhood really is a wild landscape of feeling. You might know a deep, primal love for your children, and you might also meet emotions that are rarely spoken about or “allowed” in motherhood. Grief, rage, loneliness, tenderness, fear, and all the messy, beautiful feelings in between. When you feel anything other than love or joy, it can be easy to believe you are doing something wrong, or that you are the only one who feels this way. This 5 day somatic meditation course is here to remind you that every feeling lives in your body and every feeling belongs. It is also here to remind you that you are not alone in experiencing emotions like rage, grief or fear. Across the five days you will be supported to come back to yourself, to feel more grounded in your emotional world, no matter what is moving through. When emotions feel ungrounded, it can seem as if you might be swept away by overwhelm, or that you will not find your way back to steadiness. Together we will slow down, listen to the language of your body and meet what you feel with nervous system wise practices. These practices are designed to help you find ground again, so you can feel more connected to yourself and the people you love.

Lektion 1
It All Belongs
Accepting who we are, as we are In this opening session, you are gently welcomed just as you are. Tired, overwhelmed, numb, emotional or steady. All of it belongs. In this session you will begin to notice sensations in the body and reconnect with yourself through kindness and curiosity. This is an invitation to soften the inner pressure to fix or change, and instead allow an honest, embodied presence to emerge.
Lektion 2
Self-Compassion For Mum Guilt And The Inner Critic
Meeting shame, judgement and perfection pressure with care Today explores the guilt, shame and harsh self-talk so many mothers carry. You will be guided to meet these tender places with compassion. Through grounding, body awareness and supportive imagery, you will practise offering yourself the same warmth and understanding you would give a loved one.
Lektion 3
Compassionate Touch - Holding Yourself While You Feel
Finding ground while emotions are present This session introduces soothing, attuned touch as a way to stay with emotions without being overwhelmed by them. You will explore how your own hands can offer steadiness and reassurance to your nervous system. The practice supports you to feel difficult emotions while staying anchored and connected to your body, moving at your own pace and honouring your boundaries.
Lektion 4
Letting Emotions Move
Movement for regulation and release Today invites gentle, intuitive movement as a pathway for emotional regulation. Rather than forcing stillness, you will be guided to listen to how your body wants to move, stretch, sway or rest. This practice supports the natural release of held tension and unfinished stress responses, helping you feel more grounded, present and alive in your body.
Lektion 5
Leaning Into Another While You Feel
Co-regulation and supportive presence The final session explores co-regulation, the deep human need to feel supported while experiencing big emotions. Through guided imagery and grounding, you will be invited to sense being accompanied by a supportive presence, whether human or from nature. This practice reminds your nervous system that you do not have to hold everything alone, and offers a gentle integration of everything you have explored across the course.
