Thor A Rain is a health activist, pain and fatigue specialist, and social entrepreneur dedicated to improving emotional and physical wellbeing to ease suffering. Drawing on their own recovery from complex PTSD, ME/CFS, and Fibromyalgia, Thor developed the First Aid for Feelings method — a practical approach that helps people reconnect with their bodies and mind. A core aspect is understanding that feelings are both emotions and sensations and that all feelings are information. With a background including an MA and clinical diploma in hypnosis, NLP, EFT, and coaching, Thor founded The Helpful Clinic in 2015 to advance health and emotional literacy. Their meditations, clinical work, workshops, and publications invite listeners to get curious and learn the skills to strengthen self-compassion as well as understanding and responding to feelings in a way that supports greater self-awareness and healing.
