This course does turn a lot of previously known ideas around. It takes the pressure off of the way you are supposed to sleep. And allows you a chance to entertain the idea of letting things be the way they are acceptance is a big part of what I believe she is teaching.

Another great course which made me think a lot about things I could change. I was interested in the historical natural patterns of sleep and the comfort there is with that, particularly that the need for 8 hours sleep is a misconception. I am playing with the ideas of subtracting things & being more relaxed about sleep & surrendering, those tips really feel like a way forward, thank you. And thank you for sharing your own story too. I think one of my biggest take-aways though was that 'rest begets rest', I will remember that. Thank you again for a really interesting & valuable course!

Thank you for this very insightful and thoughtful course, Clare. I benefited a lot from the last two days especially, turned off my devices and slept soundly, heeding your advice. Scrolling mindlessly in bed is some kind of virus in this day and age. Even though we know we should not do it, we give in. I have friends who regularly delete Instagram because it keeps them from logging on. When they really want to see it they have to install it again. Sometimes it just takes one intelligent and experienced person with objectivity to point simple things like that out, to keep things simple and to remind us to not be hard on ourselves to switch on the motivation to create better sleep habits. And somehow you quickly did that for me. I’m still a little amazed by this. Sharing your personal experiences moved me and helped me feel less alone with my sleep issues, too. I don’t think I’ll ever scroll again while in bed, just grab a good book and doze off. Changing that one activity had truly helped my sleep habits improve. I save my yoga nidra sessions for daytime now and that helps, too. Thanks for all the great advice, Hannah
