The Invitation
In Day 1 we acknowledge all the effort you’ve made so far to understand and manage your physical pain. We acknowledge every appointment, treatment, exercise, medication, and Google search as important steps that have all led you here, to this moment when you’re ready to respond to your pain in new and liberating ways. In our practice together we breathe life into the idea that now is the time to stop looking to experts for ‘the answer’. We open the door to connecting to the wisdom of your body, to its infinite capacity to heal and regenerate.

Lesson 2
Thoughts & Pain
In Day 2 we explore the ‘biopsychosocial model’ of pain. This approach acknowledges how pain can be influenced by a wide variety of non physical factors such as childhood trauma, experiences growing up, our social environment, personality traits, thoughts and beliefs. In our practice together, we’ll identify the negative thoughts we have about our pain, and work towards replacing these with thoughts that make us feel more hopeful and resilient.

Lesson 3
Beliefs, Personality & Pain
In day 3 we explore four common personality traits or characteristics that chronic pain sufferers often display. We begin to get curious about how the way we show up in the world may be impacting our experience of pain. In our practice together, we get curious about how these four characteristics manifest in our lives, feel in our bodies and land on our nervous system.

Lesson 4
People-Pleasing & Pain
In day 4 we explore how the personality trait of people pleasing can contribute to physical pain. We learn about our reptilian brain and how the need to belong is etched into our DNA. In our practice together we dare to understand what lies beneath our people pleasing so that we can sooth ourselves. In doing so, creating a space to see that we are enough, we are safe, even when we don’t please everyone.

Lesson 5
Perfectionism & Pain
In Day 5 we explore how perfectionism can contribute to our experience of physical pain. We reflect on how perfectionism is a double edged sword, leading to stress, anxiety and pain and also reducing our capacity to foster gratitude, joy, compassion and acceptance. In our practice together we get curious about our unique habits of perfection. From here, we’ll lean into this sense that we are enough, just as we are. In so doing, tapping into our body’s ability to be soothed and healed.

Lesson 6
Seeing Your Life & Your Pain Clearly
In Day 6 you’ll take an aerial view of your life, noticing with greater perspective those parts of your life that may be contributing to your pain and also the parts of your life that fill you with a sense of calm, joy, gratitude and good health. In our practice together, you’ll gain perspective and clarity, allowing you to create a new baseline for your habits.

Lesson 7
Interacting With Your Body In New Ways
In Day 7 we begin the process of interacting with our bodies in new and liberating ways. Together, we’ll learn to move from the lens of fear and lack towards a greater experience of gratitude and connection. In our practice together, we’ll strengthen our neural pathways for gratitude, connection and healing by focusing on all the amazing, complex, and intelligent ways our bodies support us each day.

Lesson 8
Cellular Healing
In day 8 we continue to strengthen our capacity to sooth our nervous system so that our body can heal at a deep cellular level. Today’s meditation may feel more like hypnosis as we go deep in order to access our healing state. You’ll be asked to take charge of your brain, so that it can tell your body it’s time to heal. This is a deeply restorative and empowering practice that you may wish to repeat.

Lesson 9
Learning To Listen To Your Body
In day 9 we continue to reimagine the relationship between your mind and body by really opening the lines of communication, by learning to respect and listen to the different ways your body speaks to you. The idea being that if you listen to the whispers, you won't have to hear the screams. In our practice together we scan our bodies, tuning into sensation, getting curious about what they might mean. From here, we’lll ask our bodies if they have a message for us. I hope you’ll be brave enough to listen.

Lesson 10
Seeing The Gifts Within Your Pain
In day 10 we celebrate the growth that has taken place within you. We acknowledge the courage and strength you’ve shown in understanding and responding to your pain in new and liberating ways. From this place, we begin our final challenge, the bravest act of all. Today we are ready to see the gifts within our pain, and to ask our pain “what are you here to teach me?”. I know you’re ready to listen.
