Meet your Teacher

Mitesh, a student of different traditions, finally found his home in the friendship and teachings of Rupert Spira and Francis Lucille, two of the finest non-dual teachers. They have really shaped Mitesh's sense of belonging and contribution to this world. He has been leading meditations at his workplace for over 9 years with the theme of Happiness. A Software Engineer by profession, his love for Happiness and Truth finds different forms of expression in his work life as well. His meditations, inspired by Rupert, are a vehicle of wisdom and insight to share and reflect on the happiness we long for in daily life.

Lesson 1

The Most Important Relationship: Relationship With Ourselves

The first harmonious relationship is the one we have with ourselves. This is a profound exploration of it. This understanding is critical for us to experience harmony in our relationships with others. "We can only give what we have" - without harmony and love within, what would we share without? It is a very raw, vulnerable sharing in order to invoke the same seriousness about the urgency of this approach! Do we love ourselves unconditionally? Do we speak to ourselves kindly, respectfully, lovingly, and mindfully? Do we judge ourselves, and remember only mistakes that we made? This meditation meanders through different ways we find ourselves not practicing self-love and brings us back to the importance of doing it. This might invoke a lot of memories and uncomfortable feelings but if we stick to it, we might experience a profound clarity!

Lesson 2

Harmony With Our Closest Ones (Intimate Partners And Kids)

This is a very profound exploration of the relationships we share with our intimate partners and kids or whoever we share our space with. This is the second level of harmony that is absolutely critical for our well-being; the first being the relationship with ourselves. In this contemplation, we understand how we let our minds run havoc over what our hearts are desiring - especially with our loved ones! This can help heal a lot of relationships and greatly diminish our suffering and unhappiness!

Lesson 3

Harmony With The World

This meditation takes the experience of the previous two sessions viz. the harmony with ourselves and those who are closest to us and guides us into taking it out in the world to share with others. What stops from doing this is the mistrust about the world where we think we need to guard ourselves, protect ourselves. This creates a thick wall between us and the world and leaves our interaction only transactional and survival. In this contemplation, we try to dissolve this wall by showing us how we are the world and we don't need to be protected. Isolating ourselves from the world limits our human experience whereas we possess the potential to bring more to it than just this. This is a very gentle, guided contemplation nudging us into seeing the world as a friendly place where we can be completely in harmony with!
