In this lesson we explore the ways in which speed and urgency are infiltrating our days and lives. The ways in which 24 hour news cycles, social media and the internet give the feeling that we are always "on" and reachable. And how the idea of productivity and hustle culture denies our need to move at a slower pace with more intention.

Living Without Urgency — A New Way Forward
In this lesson I want to explore the idea of slowing down and what that could mean to you. Do you feel that you relate the meaning of slowness to laziness or failure? A sense of incompetence? With ideas of hustle culture, speed can seem like the superior pace to adopt. We can get caught up in this concept and take it on even when it doesn’t actually resonate with us.
