This course is for anyone who wants to regain vitality, and a balanced perspective, and find healthy ways to deal with an uneasy mind. It is designed to counteract low energy/burnout/exhaustion/brain fog using various techniques of Yoga Nidra. Guided by Kamini Desai Ph.D., this is a 10-module course and each session is no more than 15 mins per day. This course is ideal for beginners who want to be guided into new meditation techniques as well as experienced practitioners. What you’ll learn: Yoga Nidra is an ancient sleep-based meditation technique that initiates profound shifts through its restorative and meditative benefits. While regenerating your body, helps you create a different relationship with the mind that creates stress and exhaustion. In this course, you will journey into the body to optimally rejuvenate and restore body and mind through a total internalization of attention. You will learn techniques to redirect and ground the anxious mind and interrupt the momentum of stress both in practice and throughout your day. This course is a great introduction to some of the foundational concepts and principles of I AM Yoga Nidra, and is a great way to learn more.
Kamini Desai, PhD, is an author and worldwide educator and expert on Yoga Nidra. She uniquely illuminates the ancient teachings of Yoga Nidra with modern science and psychology. I loved this course and will continue redoing it. It brings great peace as well as awareness of the body and breath. Every lesson I was amazed how quickly the session seemed to go and how good I felt after it. It is a 10 day course though, which is fine, but each session is introduced by “welcome to this 10 week course of Yoga Nidra”, so perhaps that could be edited.
