Welcome to this guided meditation.

This guided meditation for relief of hopelessness.

So if you're feeling sad,

Hopeless,

Don't feel like you can move on,

This meditation's for you.

So find a place where you can meditate.

You can do this on a chair,

Seated,

Meditation cushion,

Or lying down.

Whenever you're ready,

Close your eyes.

And as you softly,

Gently close your eyes,

You start to arrive,

Arriving here to the present moment.

And during this meditation,

All you have to do is breathe and listen to the sound of my voice.

That's it.

And if your mind wanders,

That's okay.

Just come back to the sound of my voice.

And during this meditation,

You may get emotional,

You may laugh,

You may cry,

And that's okay.

The healing is in the feelings.

So it's good to feel those feelings and allow those feelings to arise.

And it's helpful to acknowledge the feelings and say hi to the feelings.

Not fighting the feelings,

Just allow the feelings to come up and breathe through it as you listen to the sound of my voice.

That's it.

And now bring your focus and attention to your breathing.

And there's nothing to do or control with your breath.

Just focus on the breath.

Be aware of the breath.

Noticing your inhale and your exhale.

Nothing to do or control.

Just be the witness to your breathing.

And notice how your breath feels.

Is it smooth,

Choppy,

Shallow,

Or deep?

How does your breath feel?

And now take control of your breathing,

Matching your inhales with your exhales.

Maybe counting to four on the inhale and four on the exhale.

Or counting to three on the inhale and three on the exhale.

Match your breath,

A nice,

Steady breath.

And if you were counting your breath,

Release the counting and just find an easy and intuitive breath.

An easy,

Natural,

Intuitive breath.

A steady breath,

Effortless,

Easy and natural,

In and out,

Nice and smooth.

And you soon realize you're relaxing.

You're here in the present moment,

Listening to the sound of my voice.

And now just notice where your body is touching the ground.

Or where your body is lying on the mattress.

Just notice the ground beneath you,

The surface beneath you.

And start to feel grounding energy.

Life and protected,

Grounded,

Secure.

Soon your body lets go and fully relaxes.

Body feels heavier and heavier.

Muscles feel heavier and heavier.

The bones feel heavier and heavier.

And your nerves start to soften.

Your spine starts to soften.

All those muscle fibers soften.

All your cells start to relax.

And just allow your thoughts to be.

Nothing to do or control with your thoughts.

Just allow them to pass by,

Like clouds in the sky.

Your thoughts just float by,

Easy and naturally,

Floating by.

Those thoughts float by,

Those clouds float by.

And smooth and steady,

The sky starts to get bluer and bluer,

Clear and clear.

Those clouds start to disappear.

They start to fade away.

And your mind is relaxed as you breathe,

As you listen to the sound of my voice.

And in just a moment,

I wonder if you can pinpoint that hopelessness in your body.

There's a place in your body you feel that hopeless energy.

It could be in your chest,

Your stomach,

Your throat,

Your hands or legs.

In just a moment,

You'll pinpoint the exact location of this feeling,

This hopelessness.

Now pinpoint exactly where you feel this hopeless energy.

Locate it,

Pinpoint it.

And once you know exactly where it is,

You may start to see a color.

It could be any color,

Multiple colors.

Maybe you don't see a color at all,

That's okay.

Just stay with the sensation.

And notice what shape it is.

What outline does this feeling have,

This hopelessness have?

Notice the shape and notice the texture.

Is it smooth or pointy?

Notice the weight.

Is it light,

Heavy?

And notice if it makes a sound or has a smell.

And in just a moment,

You'll start to feel a golden healing light coming from above,

Coming from the center of the universe.

Golden healing light,

Soothing light,

Unconditional love,

Healing light.

And this light will enter your body at the crown of your head.

And as it enters your body,

It fills up your entire body and washes away this texture,

This feeling,

This color of hopelessness.

And in just a moment,

You'll feel this golden healing light from the center of the universe enter the crown of your head,

Fills up every single cell,

Every single muscle fiber,

All your bones and washes away that hopelessness.

Now,

Feel that golden healing light from the center of the universe entering the crown of your head,

Filling up your entire body,

Every single muscle fiber,

Every single cell and washes that hopelessness away.

That hopelessness washing away,

Breaking down,

Disintegrating,

Dissolved,

Solved and dissolved in the mind,

Solved and dissolved in the body.

Washing it away,

This golden healing light.

And just notice how you feel.

Some people feel a sense of ease,

A sense of relief.

Some people feel like they can breathe easier because this hopelessness washed away by this golden healing light.

Feeling so much better,

Unconditional love,

Protected,

Safe by this golden healing light.

And now your attention moves to your heart space.

You start to feel warmth in your heart space.

You start to feel warmth in your heart space and this golden healing light starts to spiral around your heart space,

Spiraling around your heart space,

Warming up your heart,

Spiraling around your heart,

Giving you unconditional love,

Hope,

Encouragement.

This golden healing light in the center of the universe spirals around your heart,

Filling you up,

Filling your cup up,

Hope and encouragement and unconditional love.

You're so loved and you're never,

Ever,

Ever,

Ever alone.

A crisis situation had me stuck in freeze mode barely able to breathe, consumed by racing thoughts trying to control an uncontrollable situation. This helped me dissolve some of the knot in my chest and be able to at least contemplate facing the day ahead. I will definitely listen a few more times today and over the coming weeks as I face what’s ahead. I am always grateful for the thoughtfulness you put into your meditations. Your’s are some of the only guided meditations I recommend to others because you know how to put together the words with the right music/frequencies, with the right pacing.
