Welcome to this guided meditation to calm an overactive mind.
So if your mind is all over the place,
This is the time for you,
The time for you to relax.
So find a place where you can sit or lie down.
And once you do,
Softly,
Gently close your eyes.
And as you softly,
Gently close your eyes,
You start to arrive here to the present moment.
And during this meditation,
All you have to do is breathe and listen to the sound of my voice.
That's it.
And if your mind wanders,
That's okay.
Just come back to your breathing and come back to the sound of my voice.
And right now,
Just bring your attention and awareness to your breathing.
Nothing to do or control with your breath.
Just notice your breath.
Observe your breath.
Be the witness to your breath.
Notice your inhale and your exhale.
And just notice how your breath feels.
Is your breath smooth or choppy or shallow or deep?
How does your breath feel?
And in just a moment,
Start to smooth out your breathing.
And find a comfortable,
Steady,
Natural,
Intuitive breath for you.
Some people like to count their breathing.
Maybe counting four on the inhale and four on the exhale.
Or maybe three on the inhale and three on the exhale.
But just find a comfortable,
Steady,
Natural breath for you.
Now,
Find that steady breath.
In and out through your nose.
Matching your inhales with your exhales.
Starting to settle.
Starting to relax.
Breathing and listening to the sound of my voice.
Now,
Bring your attention and awareness to your body.
And take a scan of your body.
Notice your body.
And as you scan your body,
As you notice your body,
Your body starts to relax.
Your body starts to surrender.
Each and every breath you take,
Your body relaxes more and more.
Scanning the body all the way up and all the way down.
Yes.
Surrendering your body.
Relaxing the body deeper and deeper.
And as you relax more and more,
Say this affirmation to yourself.
I will remain calm and steady.
I will remain calm and steady.
I will remain calm and steady.
Yes.
Calm and steady.
Breath is steady.
Body is steady.
And the mind is steady.
Yes.
I will remain calm and steady.
Now,
Plant this affirmation deep into your heart space.
Deep into your heart space like you're planting a seed.
And this affirmation will start to grow all throughout your body.
All throughout the day.
Whenever you need calmness,
Whenever you need peace,
You'll feel this affirmation deep inside you.
Thank you so much for meditating with me today.
Have a wonderful day.
