I really appreciated your variations of metta prayers and the contextualization you gave—the relationship to forgiveness and release). It is also the first time I felt real profound resistance— so maybe an approach that will be helpful for me to continue to explore. Not in an unkind or mean-to-myself way, rather that this helped me dip below the surface.

"Nothing is wrong in my life." That touched my heart! Life is so good and sometimes I don't see that. That you for the reminder 🙏🏾 🧘🏾‍♂️

Thank you for teaching on metta. You provided such a fertile place to start the “composting” — to understand what I’m aiming for in this meditation. I really appreciate what you said about metta being a software upgrade for our hardwired conditioning. So helpful. Thank you.

The subtle shifts in the wording of the loving-kindness mantras really resonated. Contentment alongside suffering. Safe from inner and outer harm. Ease of body and mind. I also really appreciated the focus on the suffering in my community & offering my own resources of love, kindness and peace to our interconnected sufferings.
