Flowing and letting go can feel so freeing. In changing times it is often better to let go and flow than to cling on and attach. You can do this so much easier when you realise that you actually are safe deep down and everything is going to be okay. In this meditation we are going to realise this in a forever changing but completely healing and safe sea. Enjoy this experience and look forward to finding that safety and security within.

Hello everyone.

Welcome to this Flowing with Life's Changes meditation.

A meditation inspired by my resistance to resilience,

Transformative steps to accepting change course,

Here on Inside Timer.

So just closing your eyes down gently,

Coming into this particular space.

You may be struggling with a life change now,

And that's okay.

For now,

Just being here.

Noticing the chair that you're sitting on,

Or the bed that you're lying on.

Noticing how it supports you.

Just taking a big deep breath in,

In with the peace.

And breathing out,

Out with the stress.

Imagining now that you're on a sunny beach.

The sun beams down on you,

As the ocean flows in and out.

This beach seems unfamiliar to you.

The ocean on this beach represents life changes.

This beach may be a little scary,

But you can't help but notice the relaxing ocean waves.

Flowing in and out.

You wonder how the ocean waves do it.

You wonder how they flow in such a changing environment.

They just flow,

And go wherever they need to go.

You are magnetically attracted to this ocean.

Gently pulled into it.

Your feet touch it.

The flowing waves glisten in the sunlight.

The flow caresses your feet.

Your ankles and lower legs submerge.

Followed by your whole legs and hips.

This is not as bad as you thought.

As your body is halfway in,

The fluidness of the water communicates to you.

It tells you that your physical body is forever changing.

From sensations,

To tingles,

To heat differences.

Just like the ocean,

You are not the body.

You go deeper into the flowing ocean.

The fluidness of the water reminds you that your emotional body is forever changing.

Sometimes sad.

Sometimes happy.

Sometimes angry.

The sensations of the emotions are in constant flux.

You are not the emotions.

You go deeper in.

Deeper.

Deeper.

This is to your surprise,

Very relaxing.

You are picking up the flowy nature of the waves within this forever changing sea.

The flowy nature reminds you that your mind is in a constant state of flux.

Forever changing.

From one thought to the next.

From one belief system to the next.

Even your personality is malleable.

You are not your mind.

Deeper in.

Fully submerged in this forever changing ocean.

Feel the waves.

Become one with them.

Flow with them.

A whisper comes from deep within.

You are the spirit.

The one state of you that's beyond it all.

Embody yourself in this nature now.

Beyond the mind.

Beyond the body.

Beyond the emotions.

So safe and secure within the spirit.

Be here.

As this ocean changes,

You flow to what naturally is appealing to you.

You are the spirit beyond it all.

No change can have an effect on you at this level.

You go with it.

Like a leaf flowing down a river.

Never hurt.

It goes with the flow of the water.

Having full trust and security within the universe.

It knows everything is going to be okay.

You know this too.

Deep down.

Rest.

Surrender.

As you flow,

You are safe.

You are secure.

Now as this meditation comes to an end,

Know that just like the ocean flows,

You have a certain fluidness and safety inside of you.

They coexist together.

No matter your personality.

No matter your beliefs.

It's there.

Down at the spirit level.

Remember,

You are a spiritual being having a human experience.

Moving your body around.

Wiggling your fingers and toes.

Waking yourself back up.

When you're ready,

Opening your eyes.

With a smile on your face and a safety in your soul.

Excellent.

You are safe.

You are fluid.

This is all within you.

Above all else,

You are stronger than you believe.
