Live Your Life ! French Existentialism For Beginners

With Morgane

This course is a philosophical guide towards living your most authentic life as well as finding meaning. Each lesson will focus on a specific concept that I will make as simple to understand as possible. French existentialism’s philosophy is centered around the idea that each individual is unique, free and has the power to create his own life and meaning. This course could be the first step for you to take back control over your life, listen to your inner voice and dare doing what you always wanted to do. This course is accessible to everyone, even if you've never studied philosophy before.

Thank you Morgane 🙏 I appreciated your introduction to the French existentialism and agree with its philosophie. We are responsible for our life’s which has a limited time. Therefore, we should embrace the moment, live to the fullest with the knowledge that every human being has the same aspiration and right to freedom/liberty.

Loved this - the simplicity in the explanation was a good introduction to the French concept of existentialism. My actions and choices determine what colours are painted onto my blank canvas of life. I loved that I am who I am not by what happens to me but by how I have responded to what happens to me. I am not a victim of my circumstances but rather a victim of my response to my circumstances. I also enjoyed the insight into Scisiphys (spelling??) and to consider him happy in his task. That to me was absurd but then thinking about it made me think about all the daily tasks we do like brushing teeth or cooking dinner. I smiled to think yes I could be content and happy everyday every time I performed a Scisiphean task. Aligning my choices not in isolation but with consideration of others also makes perfect sense in living an authentic existence. My responsibility to all this freedom is governed by this very moral code. I have a few family members who hide behind the door of keeping the peace. To rather shy away from standing up for bad behavior in others is a choice to value peace over protecting someone who is on the receiving end of that bad behavior. I now know their values. To choose not to choose is a choice. Yes that may let you believe you are living authentically but this would not be entirely true if it’s to the detriment of our fellow human beings. Thank you I am grateful I stumbled on your course today 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
