In today’s session, will learn how to engage the two pillars of breathwork - awareness and conscious practice. Together, we will connect with the breath through the simple practices of breath watching and gentle engagement.

Your Unique Relationship With The Breath
In today’s session, we connect with the essential relationship that you have with the breath. As we walk this path together over these 10 days, you will find that your relationship with the breath will likely shift in some fundamental way.
Perhaps it will be a simple awareness that your breath is a powerful ally, or maybe it is a deepening in subtle awareness. Just as with any relationship, it takes time and commitment to explore the fullness of what is possible.

Lesson 3
Mindfulness Of Breath
In today’s session, we connect with the quality and practice of mindfulness as it relates to the breath. To be mindful is to “pay attention on purpose.” Mindfulness of breath is the simple practice of paying attention to the breath with a purpose, or intention, of your choosing.
Aided by the energies of compassion and willingness, we will open to the messages and meaning being offered by the breath in our ever-changing and expansive present moment experience.

Lesson 4
The Nose Is For Breathing, The Mouth Is For Eating
In today’s session, we explore the common issues of overbreathing and how nasal breathing is essential to good health and vitality. While this might seem like a bit of a paradox, chronic overbreathing leads to a lack of oxygen within our muscles and organs, including the heart and brain.
Understanding why this is and how we can correct it is an important step in building your breathwork practice. We will also look at how nose breathing helps to calm the nervous system and build vital energy.

Lesson 5
Breathing For Health + Wellbeing
In today’s session, we tap into what is known as the “Therapeutic Zone” of breathwork. This is a practice of breathing that involves a specific rate of six breaths per minute and is associated with heart-brain coherence, resilience and calm within the nervous system, and improved cardiovascular health, immune function and overall wellbeing.
As you build the daily habit of breathwork, you will find that practices such as this will have cumulative effects of increasing your sense of health and wellbeing.

Lesson 6
Breathing For Calm
In today’s session, we look at what creates the sense of overwhelm, anxiety and fear within our lives. Starting with awareness, we see how the pattern of stress shows up in our breathing. From this awareness, we then use very intentional breathwork practices to bring a greater sense of calm and emotional resilience to our experience. These practices can then be taken into our daily lives to provide further support and bring calm to otherwise stressful times.

Lesson 7
Breathing For Energy
In today’s session, we explore the energy body and learn how the breath offers flow and the experience of vitality. In many languages, the word ‘breath’ is synonymous with ‘life force’ or ‘vital energy’. Together, we will explore why this is and how we can engage the breath to provide flow within the body, help with emotional energetic regulation, expand energetic awareness, and build our oxygen availability and vital energy stores.
Practices will include some gentle and flowing movement.

Breathing For Connection
In today’s session, we tap into the power of the breath as a connective force. Through compassion, love, and kindness we engage with the breath as a bridge for personal, interpersonal and spiritual connection. The breath carries with it a vibrational field that is the source of our connection to all beings and our divine nature. Engaging with the breath in this way allows us to build supportive relationships and deepen connection on all levels of being.

Breathing For Creativity
In today’s session, we explore the more subtle aspects of the breath as it relates to our deep creative power. Creation is our natural ability to bring into being and is a process that we engage in on a daily, moment-to-moment basis. Through awareness and dynamic breath practice, we explore how the breath can be used to create what it is that we truly desire in our lives in a more powerful, intentional way.

Continuing Your Breathwork Journey
In today’s session, we look at how your relationship to the breath has evolved over our 10 days together and learn some practical and supportive tools for continuing your journey of breathwork practice. The breath is both intelligent and healing, designed to help you remember the truth of yourself as whole.
Be curious about your experience and continue to approach the breath through the eyes of a child. This last session together will build your energy of inspiration and vision as you continue to practice and deepen your relationship.
