Have you ever felt as though your energy is depleted?
As though you have let go of more than your highest self demands?
Do you tend to give away your energy?
Do you tend to do for others and offer them energetic support,
In turn leaving you feeling tired or depleted?
If so,
As we all tend to do,
It is likely that we have been leaking energy through our energetic ties to others.
This meditation that we're moving through together now is a cord cutting meditation.
It's designed to help us recover any of the energy that we have lost and to reestablish energetic boundaries so that we no longer continue to leak energy.
These energetic cords are connections that we create throughout our lives.
We react and interact with people via these energetic cords.
When we establish a relationship,
Whether it is very close such as an intimate relationship or perhaps even something more benign,
Just in passing we meet somebody and interact with them energetically.
These energetic connections bind us together.
Now these connections aren't bad.
They're actually there to serve us.
They help us to read others,
To feel and sense the energy from another.
They also help us to establish intimacy,
To establish understanding and empathy.
So these cords are actually designed to serve us.
The issue is that we often maintain cords of energy transmission that do not serve us.
We tend to hold on to energetic connections that are depleting us.
Or perhaps we are holding on to energetic connections that are serving us,
That are feeding us.
And this can be especially difficult to recognize because we may be receiving energy and we don't recognize the difficulty in this or the harm that could be caused.
So it might be causing harm to another or perhaps it's just not helping us to evolve.
Perhaps it's keeping us stagnant.
And so this meditation is designed to help you recover the energy,
To reestablish your own energetic boundaries.
And we can also release these cords with those that we love,
Those that we have an intimate relationship with right now.
It isn't necessary for us to hold such strong ties with another.
In fact it's often very common that some of our energy depletion or most of our energy depletion may be caused via these intimate relationships.
We tend to simply build upon our past.
We keep this energetic cording very strong.
And what this can do over time if not addressed or cleaned is that it can create more and more accumulation of either energy loss or energy gain.
And tends to interfere with our autonomy,
Our own individual expression of self.
So it can be extremely beneficial to cut cords with those that we have intimate relationships with.
It offers opportunity for new,
For opening to what is possible in this present moment.
It's almost as though we have released any past relationship and now we're opening to the potential of now.
We begin to see the individual as new,
As someone who is in this present moment,
Not simply a collection of memories.
And so in your mind's eye bring up the image of someone that you wish to cut cords with.
So again,
This could be someone that you are struggling with,
That you feel energy depletion with,
Someone that you are taking energy from.
Or it may be a relationship that you are wishing to cleanse,
To begin anew.
So see this person clearly in your mind's eye and witness the cording.
See the energetic tie between you.
You may see the cord coming from a specific area in your body or it may be so large and so all encompassing that it seems to be holding onto your full body,
That your full body is corded to another.
Now with this visualization,
While holding the image of this individual and the connection through the energetic cord,
We begin by welcoming in the energy of the divine.
We welcome in truth,
Welcome in love.
And so feel this entering.
Feel this energy of the universe,
Of the higher good for all involved.
Entering the situation,
Entering your mind's eye and being part of this experience.
Feel yourself wrapped up in this universal expression of love.
And now feeling safe,
Feeling loved and supported by this energy.
We take the next step of severing the cord.
You have different options here.
If you relate very well to the realm of angels,
I recommend that you bring in Archangel Michael and his sword.
You can request that Archangel Michael severs the cord,
The energetic tie with his sword.
Or if you'd prefer to use scissors,
Visualizing scissors that you yourself wield,
You can visualize this now.
Whichever visualization works for you,
Witness as this cord is cut swiftly and cleanly.
Witness now as the cord,
Where severed,
Snaps back into each individual involved.
So you recover your energetic cord and the other recovers theirs.
And with this recoil,
With this recovery of energy,
You feel the energy being pulled back into you.
And it feels also as though there is more movement,
More freedom.
You don't feel tied to something.
It's as though you've been loosened.
Feel how you can now see in different directions.
You're not being tied to this one direction any longer.
Feel the energy entering your body,
Both your energetic and physical body and even your spirit.
Feel that energy that's recovered now dispersing,
Being reclaimed.
And now you may choose to offer this blessing.
I now sever and release any and all energetic cords that do not serve my highest good.
I release you and I release me from these binds.
All cords are destroyed across all dimensions,
Times and planes,
Never to return again.
I banish these energetic cords and recover now all energy that was once lost.
My energy flows back to me,
Filling me once again with vitality and creating now a peaceful,
Energetic boundary of love and light.
And so it is.
Now spend a couple of minutes just basking in this energy,
Allowing the time and space for reintegration.
Let the nondom獖… Now,
As our energy is reintegrated,
It's time to establish energetic boundaries.
This is energetic protection,
Not to separate you from others,
But rather to maintain healthy boundaries,
To keep your energy primarily with yourself.
In your mind's eye,
Or even in feeling and experience,
Witness as you are covered in luminescence,
In brilliant white light,
Your entire energy body is cloaked.
You are covered with this glowing protective sheath.
This boundary will now help you to maintain your highest levels of energy.
As you continue forward into the rest of your day,
You can intend that this energetic boundary remains in place,
That you contain your energy,
And step confidently forward into your day.
