What if chronic anxiety and stress don't mean that something is wrong with you or that you're too sensitive? What if they're simply messages from your nervous system that we need to learn to understand? What if by doing so, we can heal our dysregulated nervous system, making anxiety obsolete? In this course, you will learn to regulate your nervous system and thereby increase your capacity for life, as nervous system dysregulation is often the root cause of anxiety, chronic stress, high sensitivity, and self-doubt. I will provide you with scientifically backed tools from neuroscience, polyvagal theory, somatic experiencing, IFS, and stress research that have personally helped me feel safe in my body, heal my anxieties and nervous system, be gentle with myself, and feel capable in life. This course will show you that you are not broken – your nervous system is simply trying to protect you. To heal anxiety and chronic overwhelm, we need to show the body that it is safe and secure, rather than trying to change our thoughts. When we regulate our nervous system, the quality of our thoughts automatically improves and our anxieties diminish. That's exactly what we'll do here – welcome!


Meet your Teacher

Miriam Amavi is a trauma-informed meditation teacher, podcaster, and certified in Inner Voice Facilitation and Applied Polyvagal Theory in Yoga For Trauma Recovery. For a long time, she viewed her sensitivity as a weakness, believing she needed to function better to fit into the world. It wasn't until she realized that this sensitivity was precisely what the world needed—that it craves the exquisite sensitivity within us all. She learned that resting and being gentle with oneself isn’t a weakness but essential for our well-being. Now, in her courses and meditations, she is teaching others to follow their heart and intuition, regulate their nervous system, and treat themselves with unconditional love. How we treat ourselves is how we perceive our life.

Good course, most important stuff is towards the end of the course as in most courses. I found the narrators voice soothing however she switches her pace too often. One minute you are doing a slow meditation and the other she paces and talks very speedy. Overall I did find the course pretty useful and the author put in good efforts.
