Hi,
I'm Miriam Amavi and we are going to take a little mini self-compassion break now.
And you can just get comfortable and let your hands fall onto your body wherever they want to fall.
You can close your eyes if that feels safe.
And otherwise you can just have a soft gaze and turn your attention inwards.
And now you can just offer your inner world some sweet talk and offer these compassionate words to your inner world.
It's okay,
I'm here,
I've got you,
And it's okay to feel this way.
However you feel.
It is human and all of it is part of the process of being human.
Of whatever process you're currently moving through.
You cannot do this wrong.
You don't have to be faster.
You don't have to be further along.
You don't need to be better.
You're allowed to just be you and you are beautiful.
You're doing this so well,
Tending to yourself.
You don't need to be smarter or prettier.
And I invite you to really absorb these words and let yourself steep within them.
Really invite them into your body and let them flow through your body.
Being absorbed by every cell in your body.
And you can notice what happens in your body as you offer yourself this sweet talk.
When you allow yourself to really receive these words.
Perhaps there is an opening in your chest or you feel a warmth in your belly.
Maybe you feel relief,
Love,
And maybe there is resistance,
And that's okay.
You don't need to do anything differently.
Because it is just an invitation to sink a little bit deeper into this sweet talk.
If that is what you can allow right now.
And you can acknowledge yourself in this moment.
Introduce yourself in whatever you're feeling.
Offer yourself some more sweet talk if you like.
And then you can take a deep breath.
And if you like you can stay in this stillness and keep offering yourself sweet words.
And otherwise you can slowly open your eyes,
Move your hands around,
Orient yourself to the room.
And you can do this exercise many times throughout the day if you're the type of person who puts quite a lot of pressure on themselves.
Or of course you can just do it whenever you feel like it.
