In this 6 week course you'll listen to 6 different meditations that create an experience of wellbeing, calmness, kindness and joy inside of you.
 These meditations will help you deal with your big feelings, like anger, frustration, sadness and jealousy powerfully, and return you to a sense of calm. These meditations are practiced by school children in New Zealand every day, as part of a meditation programme for schools.  “I love it. feel so calm!” In this course you will: - Learn to notice your feelings, body sensations and create space to feel them without needing to react. - Learn to notice the space between things to feel peaceful. - Learn to Pause, Breathe, Choose to deal with overwhelming emotions. - Build confidence and resilience with positive affirmations. - Learn how to deal with negative thoughts powerfully. - Learn how to release tension in your body and return to calm. - Learn how to stay balanced and empowered in friendships. If you're a teacher, this course has been setup to be used in the classroom in a very easy way. It has all introductions and tracks so that all you have to do is press play at the beginning of the day. If you’re a parent, these meditations are great to practice at home and a great way to start or end the day. For both parents and teachers, know that by playing these meditations every day you'll be contributing to your children's wellbeing at home and in the classroom.

Meet your Teacher

Sofia Eastmond is a certified Chopra Meditation® Instructor (trained by Deepak Chopra and his team at the Chopra Centre). She's also a ThetaHealing® Practitioner and the author of the children's book "The Magic of Who You Are." Sofia created a meditation programme for schools currently being used in New Zealand, which includes collecting data through regular feedback surveys on happiness, wellbeing and how children feel about meditation. This course is a compilation of the work being done with schools and the positive feedback she's received directly from the children practicing these meditations and their teachers. Sofia is inspired by scientific research that shows how impactful a simple daily meditation practice can have on children's wellbeing. She wants to make a difference with young children, their families and their sense of wellbeing, confidence, joy and resilience.

Feel The Space Around You

Noticing the space between things helps you relax and feel good inside. You can do this in any situation. When you notice that you’re feeling upset, grumpy, nervous or angry, you can pause and notice and feel the space between things. This helps you get back to feeling calm and deal with your big feelings in a powerful way.

Meditation 2: Feel The Space Around You

In this meditation, you're going to feel the space around you, within you and between things. You're going to feel super relaxed and receive special messages to remind you of who you are and what you're capable of. You'll feel light, confident and hopeful. In today's meditation, you're going to connect with the loving, wise side of you that knows what you need, especially when you feel jealous, angry, sad or frustrated inside.
