Today,
We're going to meditate together using a simple mantra-based meditation.
We use the mantra soul hum to allow us to settle into quieter and deeper levels of mind and body where you can easily access the peace and stillness that's already within you.
When you think this mantra,
It gives your mind a task other than focus on the incessant chatter that creates so much stress in our lives.
Whenever we repeat the mantra,
We give ourselves the ticket to access this inner stillness.
We repeat the mantra silently and effortlessly.
And whenever we notice that our attention has drifted away towards thoughts,
Feelings,
Emotions,
Sensations and other distractions,
Which we can count on because this is a natural part of a meditation practice,
Then all you have to do is turn your attention back into silently repeating the mantra.
You'll do this back and forth a few times during the meditation and at the end of it,
You'll feel more relaxed,
You'll feel more peaceful and rejuvenated.
Soul Hum Soul Hum Soul Hum Soul Hum Soul Hum Soul Hum Please continue to repeat the mantra silently.

It is time to release the mantra.
Please continue to sit restfully with your eyes closed.
Resting in being.
Resting in presence.
Resting in awareness.
Now bring your awareness back into your body.
Back into the room.
And when you're ready,
Please open your eyes very slowly.
