Welcome to your rest.
Make sure that you are as comfortable as you can possibly be.
Use pillows,
Cushions and blankets to bring yourself into a comfortable position where you'll be able to rest completely without feeling distracted by any discomfort in your body.
Close your eyes and bring your awareness to your breath.
Follow the natural flow of the breath coming in and going out of your body.
Watch the gentle rising and falling of the chest.
And notice how the breath is very naturally slowing down as your body begins to relax.
This is your very precious break in your day to rest and to simply exist exactly as you are.
Right now there is nothing that you need to do,
Nowhere you need to be,
No obligations to fulfill.
You are free to just be.
You're free to follow my voice if that's useful for you,
But you're also free to drift away and ignore me.
This is your time to enjoy your gentle reset in the most peaceful way for you.
Continue to follow the breath as it flows in and out.
Watch the breath flowing into your chest,
Into your belly.
Into any other parts of your body.
And now see the breath flowing over the whole of your body like a wave.
Inhale from your feet up to the top of your head.
And exhale from the top of your head back to your feet.
With every exhalation feel that wave carrying away any tension,
Any stresses or worries from the day.
Anything that you don't need to bring with you into your rest.
With every exhalation you become more peaceful,
More deeply relaxed.
Now bring your awareness into your right hand and see a blue light glowing inside your right hand.
Watch the blue light float through your right hand,
Illuminating the thumb,
Index finger,
Middle finger,
Ring finger and little finger.
See the blue light illuminating the palm of the hand,
The back of the hand.
And watch the light float up the right arm,
Illuminating the wrist,
The forearm,
The elbow,
The upper arm,
The shoulder.
See the blue light floating into the right armpit,
The right side of the chest,
The right side of the abdomen,
The right waist,
The right hip,
The right thigh,
The knee,
The leg,
The right ankle,
The right heel,
The sole of the right foot,
The top of the foot,
The right toes 1,

See the blue light glowing throughout the whole of the right side of the body,
Blue light illuminating the right side of the body.
Now move to the left hand,
See blue light glowing inside the left hand.
Watch the blue light float through the left hand thumb,
The left index finger,
The middle finger,
The ring finger,
The little finger,
The palm of the hand and the back of the hand.
See the blue light floating up the left arm,
Illuminating the lower arm,
The elbow,
The upper arm,
The shoulder,
Blue light floating through the left armpit,
The left side of the chest,
The left side of the abdomen,
The left hip,
The left thigh,
The left knee,
The lower leg and the ankle,
The sole of the left foot,
The top of the left foot,

Come back to your breath,
Come back to the wave-like movement of the breath floating over your body,
Inhale from the feet to the top of the head,
Exhale from the top of the head back to the feet,
Every exhalation carrying away any remaining tension,
Any stresses,
Any cares or worry,
Every exhalation carrying away everything that you no longer need.
See your body illuminated with blue light,
As you breathe see that blue light expanding out into the space around you,
With every exhalation watch the blue light expanding,
Spreading out into the world and give yourself permission now to float away with that blue light,
To drift into the peaceful blue light,
To quietly float,
Slowly come back to your body,
Come back to the breath quietly flowing in and out,
Watch the gentle rising and falling of the chest and notice how the breath is naturally finding its way into your hands and your feet,
Into your fingers and toes and allow the breath to gently animate the fingers and the toes,
Reawakening the body.
Start to make some movements with your hands and your feet and if it feels good for you give yourself a long stretch,
When you're ready slowly open your eyes to return to your day.
