This guided Yoga Nidra invites you to put the stresses and busyness of your day aside and make time for rest and replenishment. During Yoga Nidra, you are guided through various techniques and visualisations which encourage relaxation on every level: physically, mentally, emotionally and energetically. As you relax, stored tensions and stresses are effortlessly released as you gently surrender into a peaceful and present, deeply restful state. This meditation has been designed to encourage a complete energy restoration and relief from stress, anxiety and tension as you move through all of the traditional stages of yoga nidra. Included in the practice are a body scan for relaxation, breath awareness, and an exploration of the opposites stress and calm (to encourage a release of, and better understanding of, stress within your body). Following the practice, you can expect to return to your day feeling calmer, reset and re-energised.
