Clarify and cast your vision with this 11-minute meditation and visualization. We begin by finding balance and mind-body harmony with a few conscious breaths, then recall a time in our lives when we were unstoppable. Harnessing that same energy and feeling, we begin to cast a vision for the future. This meditation is best done with one goal or vision in mind.

Hello and welcome.

Today we are going to do a visioning exercise and meditation.

We'll begin with a balancing breath,

Move to a visualization,

And then a very deep meditation that you can do at any time during the day,

But it is particularly powerful just before you go to sleep.

So find a comfortable position,

Whatever works for your body.

You can be lying down or seated with a nice straight spine and just really focus on softening the body,

Coming to a place of receptivity and openness.

Do a quick scan from the top of the head all the way down to the toes,

Just checking in with yourself,

Noticing if there's any areas that are a little tense or a little blocked,

Not trying to change anything right now,

Just noticing,

Finding that awareness.

Now bring your attention to the breath.

We're going to breathe to the count of four,

In to the count of four,

Holding to the count of four,

Exhaling to the count of four,

And then holding out to the count of four.

So I'll count you through a few rounds.

Inhale one,

Two,

Three,

Four,

Hold two,

Three,

Four,

And exhale two,

Three,

Four,

Hold out two,

Three,

Four,

Inhale,

Hold,

Exhale,

And hold out.

Inhale,

Hold,

Exhale,

And hold out.

Continuing on at your own count,

Noticing the balance that you are creating in the body.

Now I'd like you to imagine a pillar of light at your left,

Shooting up just at your left side.

Now imagine another pillar of light right in front of you,

A nice thick wall of light.

Imagine a pillar shooting up from your right side,

And now imagine one appearing at your back so that four pillars of light surround you.

And with this strong visualization,

I invite you to release your breath to a normal cadence.

Sitting in this light,

Imagine you are sitting in your strength.

Feel this light infusing you with ability,

Capability,

Self-trust.

Now I invite you to think about a time when you felt like you were your best self.

Perhaps you achieved something or perhaps you were just having an ordinary day and you just felt wonderful.

Give yourself time to bring this vision to the surface,

Remembering that time when you felt in flow,

Totally trusting yourself.

Really see yourself at this time.

Notice how you felt.

Notice how your body felt.

Notice whether you were smiling or laughing.

Notice who was around you.

And as you begin to picture this,

You may notice a certain energy in your body,

A certain vibration or lightness,

Relaxation.

Allow your body to fill with this energy,

This energy of flow and presence,

Just being the truest version of you.

Feel what you felt that day right now.

And with this sensation,

I invite you to consider what you would like to call in to your life,

What an ideal version of you looks like now.

Focus on one thing.

It may be a relationship you'd like to nurture.

It may be a more fulfilling job or work situation.

It may be that you are in a different environment or simply reaching a goal.

Whatever it is in your life that would benefit from this sense of flow and strength,

Bring it to mind and imagine yourself having already achieved it,

Having already lived in this reality.

And as you sit here,

Notice the sensation in your body.

Feel this thing already in your life and feel the tingle,

Feel this surge of energy,

Of flow and vitality and presence.

Bring back into the body what you felt before and fill the body completely.

Feel it from the toes to the feet to the ankles.

Feel the sensation in your legs,

In your hips,

In your back,

In your belly and lungs.

Feel it beating your heart.

Feel your shoulders,

Your neck,

Your arms,

Your hands,

Your face.

Feel the sensation throughout the body.

Feel it in all the organs.

Feel it emanating from the skin.

Breathe into it,

Embody it.

Now I want you to feel the safety and security to allow this vision to come to its realization.

Feel the worthiness.

Allow this energy now to magnify,

To pulse in the system,

Moving beyond the body,

Connecting with these pillars of light that surround you.

Feel this light expanding,

Not disappearing but staying with you,

Filling the entire room,

Staying with you beyond this meditation.

The safety,

Security and ability to receive is now a part of your reality.

Now we're going to breathe in to a count of four.

Inhaling slowly one,

Two,

Three,

Four,

Hold two,

Three,

Four,

Exhale two,

Three,

Four and then hold out two,

Three,

Four.

Feeling this balance,

Inhale real deep,

Fill the belly and exhale gently through the mouth.

Now whether you are going about your day or ready to drift off to sleep,

Know that this energy is with you.

Know that you are deserving,

You are ready,

You are capable and it is available to you at any time.
