Thank you for the reminder that I don’t need to explain myself to anyone else. Also, I saw connect with the concept of trust in my body. If it doesn’t feel right, it probably isn’t right. My biggest struggle at the moment is trying to rationalize it internally and making it about self-respect, instead of wanting to be liked by others. I have a situation going on right now, where the individual I struggle with wants to debate and justify the way they are treating me verbally. The left side engage in conversation the more this individual has been looking at their own behavior. It’s not my job to take their inventory. It’s my job to look at my part. It sounds weird, but allowing this person to stay in my life as they are currently makes me a victim. It’s actually provocative interestingly enough I fall into a category of being victimized by the way someone else is treating me when in reality it is how I am treating myself. I like myself much more when I just make it about me and take care of myself. Again, thank you for the gentle reminder. You have a great week!
