Helen leads you through powerful meditative journeys designed to nurture your mind, body, and spirit. In this session, Helen invites us into the transformative practice of loving-kindness meditation, or metta—a foundational Buddhist technique that helps us cultivate compassion for ourselves and others. Helen gently walks us through each of the five stages of this meditation, beginning with sending love to ourselves, then extending it to a good friend, a neutral acquaintance, and even someone we find difficult. Finally, she inspires us to share our well-wishes with the entire world, including all living beings and the earth itself. Throughout the session, Helen offers calming guidance, periods of quiet reflection, and helpful phrases to use as anchors for your attention, all with an emphasis on kindness, acceptance, and connection.
