This is a quick and gentle mindset reset guided meditation, a practice to turn to when you have thoughts or feelings that are overwhelming and you want to get to a place of calm and comfort. This practice is a good method to turn to any time you are experiencing stress or anxiety, and want to center and refresh your mind and body.

Hi,
This is Julie Skaan and this is a quick and gentle mindset reset meditation.
This is a practice that I turn to whenever thoughts or feelings become overwhelming and I just want something to help me return to feeling centered and calm and reset my thoughts.
So whenever you're ready,
Please get in your most comfortable position.
Turn your awareness into your breathing.
Gently let the air flow in and out.
Release any tension in your muscles,
In your bones,
In your thoughts and gently close your eyes.
Let's take a few breaths together,
Refreshingly inhale and exhale and inhale and let it all go.
Over the next couple of minutes,
I'm going to ask you a few questions and just finish the sentence in your mind and as the thoughts come,
Just gently let them go.
Continue to breathe and on your next inhale,
Begin to finish the sentence.
I am overwhelmed by.
And just let the thoughts come.
Don't pay them too much attention.
Just let it go.
If you find your thoughts start to wander,
Just gently come back to your breath.
And on your next inhale,
Finish the sentence.
I am comforted by.
And on your next inhale,
Finish the sentence.
Just for today,
I will.
Beautiful.
And together,
Let's take another few breaths.
Each breath in,
Just nourish your body.
Acknowledge that you cleansed your mind.
You are now at peace.
Now calm.
You can start to slowly move your body.
Your fingers,
Whether your toes come back into your heart space.
When you're ready,
You can gently open your eyes.
Remember to be kind to yourself with your thoughts.
