Hello,
This is Julie and this is a meditation for connecting and grounding and for some root chakra healing.
Let's get in a very comfortable seated or lying down position,
Whatever you like the most.
Gently close your eyes and let's take a deep inhale together.
Let it out.
One more time,
Let's take a deep inhale in and let it all out.
This meditation is meant to remind you that you are connected and you are grounded and you are safe.
When our root chakra gets off balance,
Sometimes we start feeling not as secure in ourselves or in our surroundings and we forget how connected we are to our families and to our friends and to the earth and to each other.
So the goal of this meditation is to just go inside of your body and we're going to heal your root chakra and remind you just how connected you are.
To begin,
I want you to visualize yourself in your favorite place outdoors.
Somewhere bright,
Somewhere beautiful,
Somewhere that you love where you feel completely safe and relaxed and in peace.
Let your body and your mind just settle into this space.
Take some deep breaths into your shoulders,
Feel them relax.
Release any tension you're holding in your jaw or in your forehead and just let your body be.
While you're visualizing yourself in this beautiful space,
Let your breath simply flow in and out.
If thoughts come,
Just let them flow by and let them go.
Just come back to your breath.
Now while you're sitting in this space,
Visualize your favorite vibrant color of red and with each inhale,
You're going to breathe this red deeper and deeper into your body.
Inhale it into your throat.
Let it fill your lungs.
Fill your heart all the way down into your root chakra,
Just by your tailbone.
And while it's there,
Continue to breathe it in and warm your body.
Allow it to heal your body and fill you with kindness and love.
As you continue to breathe in and sit with this beautiful,
Vibrant red light,
I'm going to guide you through a series of inhales and exhales.
So let's inhale warmth.
Let it out.
Inhale love.
Let it out.
Inhale groundedness.
Let it out.
