Your time for mind and body peace and sleep is here.
You have most likely had a day that brought waves of emotions and experiences.
You undoubtedly had times of frustration and moments of clarity.
You had plans,
Ideas,
And hopes to set in place.
And now is the time to let it all go.
Let's fill your mind and your body with loving gratitude.
Because I believe that the love and the effort that you gave today deserves to be honored and celebrated.
Know that whatever transpired today is just as it should be,
Perhaps perfectly imperfect.
Let's start to enter the place of deep relaxation.
Let your inhales and your exhales gently flow in and out.
And close your eyes.
Let any tension that you are holding in your body release.
Feel yourself relax your forehead,
Your jaw,
Your shoulders.
Breathe into your back.
Feel your chest.
Relax your hips,
Your legs,
And your feet.
Inhale into your entire body and feel it soften.
As you continue to breathe,
Allow the moments of the day to sweetly float in and out of your memory.
Guide your thoughts to the moments of the day that you are grateful for.
Begin with the morning and slowly replay your day,
Pausing at the memories that made you smile,
The times where you felt at ease,
Where something surprised you and you felt joy.
And as you replay your day,
Simply say in your mind,
Thank you for the moments.
Now,
Let's take some time to thank others that had an uplifting impact upon your day.
This could be a loved one,
Someone you're close to,
Or it could be a complete stranger who smiled at you or helped you out.
Make some time to go through your day and as these thoughts come up,
Envision how that person looked,
How they made you feel.
Recall the interaction with them.
And as you do,
Send each person waves of gratitude.
And as you do,
Send each person a wave of gratitude.
Now,
It's time to fill yourself with gratitude.
The days can be long sometimes and we often forget the beautiful energy that we bring to the moments,
To others and to ourselves.
So take some time now to simply guide your thoughts to yourself and say thank you.
It doesn't have to be specific.
You can use thank you as your mantra as you continue to breathe.
Inhale and exhale,
Relaxing thank yous.
Now is your time to rest.
Time to breathe sweetly,
Softly,
Gently and fill your mind and body with peace and with grace.
Good night.
