Welcome,
Good morning.
You can do this meditation either lying down in bed or sitting up in a chair or cross-legged on the floor.
Wherever you're at,
Just ensure that you're comfortable.
Allow your eyes to close and take a deep,
Slow breath in through your nose.
Fill your belly like a big balloon and hold the breath at the top and then gently release.
Two more long,
Slow,
Deep breaths like this,
Filling the belly,
Expanding the ribs,
Allowing the collarbones to expand and spread,
And releasing completely,
Slowly.
One more breath,
And as you release,
Release everything that's not serving you,
Any thoughts that are bothering you,
Any anticipations.
Now continue to breathe slow and deep at a regular pace that feels good to you.
Just consciously breathing,
Breathing into the belly,
Allowing your breath to expand inside of you,
To move around your body,
Creating space,
Clearing any residual thoughts,
Any dreams,
Anything that was heavy on your mind yesterday.
Just allow all of that to go with each exhale.
Focus on allowing the exhales to match the inhales,
Maybe even allowing the exhales to be just a little bit longer than the inhale.
Establishing a sense of calm and equilibrium,
Establishing a sense of strength,
Establishing a sense of resolve that as you move forward through your day,
You will show up fully and completely.
Continue to breathe slow and deep.
Continue to focus on the here and now.
Fully commit to this moment here,
To each breath,
Equal inhale,
Equal exhale.
Fully commit to moving through your day with the same spirit of grounding,
Of equilibrium,
Of resolve.
Continue to breathe deeply,
To breathe deeply,
Continue to notice,
Continue to expand and release.
And if you choose to repeat the following either internally or out loud,
Today I show up as my best self.

Today I communicate my truth.
