In a spiritual conversation, acceptance can sound like a thing for us to do to relieve suffering. But that can often seem hard when the going of human life gets tough. In this lesson we lean into acceptance as a result of seeing things differently and begin to move away from the idea of doing acceptance.

The Symphony Of Experience: Understanding Your Inner Landscape
To move from acceptance being a verb, to being something which emerges, the first thing we need is an understanding of how our experience is being generated. Just like moving our hand away from something hot, once we know where suffering is we tend to move away. In this lesson, we learn some fundamentals of human experience which will help us to move towards acceptance.

The Illusion Of Control: Embracing What Is
When we start to recognise that we cannot control much of what happens in life, acceptance makes more and more sense. In this lesson we explore how resistance and clinging are the true causes of suffering and that once we see this, the emergence of acceptance is much more likely.

The Power Of Understanding: When Acceptance Arises Naturally
When we understand how something works, we have a more easeful way of being with that thing. This is true of gravity and our human experience. In this lesson we learn about the 3 principles of Mind, Consciousness and Thought and how they can help us move closer towards acceptance.

Self-Acceptance: Discovering Your True Nature
Understanding ourselves and where out thoughts come from is vital if we are to move into a place of self-acceptance. In this lesson we consider the random way in which thoughts are generated which allows us to relate to them differently and become much more self-compassionate and self-accepting.

Embracing The Dance Of Emotions: Cultivating Self-Acceptance Through Feelings
Who knows when it happened but at some point, we humans began to think that emotions are a problem. Then began the mission to get rid of them. In this lesson we explore the truth about how emotions arise and move to a place of experimentation to see the nature of them as a movement of energy.

Owning Your Story: Embracing Self-Acceptance Through Behaviour
When we do not understand the way in which our behaviour is generated, it is all too easy to fall into guilt, self-judgement and self-criticism. In this lesson we get clarity about the nature of human behaviour which will allow us to more readily fall into acceptance of what we do.

The Advantages Of Acceptance: A Life Of Flow And Connection
Understanding the benefits of acceptance is effective in helping us to move towards it more of the time. In this lesson we look at what emerges for us as human beings when we spend more time in a place of acceptance. The aim of this is to help us āchooseā to spend more time in acceptance naturally.
Lektion 9
The Journey Continues: Integrating Acceptance Into Daily Life
As we come to the end of this course, its time to see how we can move towards more acceptance in our lives. In this lesson we look at the different levels of acceptance and how they might emerge in our lives. We are also encouraged to consider the journey we will go on after the course.
