Welcome.
If you found your way here this morning,
It might be because your mind feels a little full.
Perhaps you've woken up with tension,
Racing thoughts or a feeling that something needs to be fixed before you can feel calm again.
So let's begin together with a gentle breath in and out.
Know that this meditation is not about fixing or doing.
It's not even about trying to let go.
What this meditation is,
Is an invitation to see what's already true.
From a three principles perspective,
Letting go is not a task for you to do.
Not something for you to master.
Letting go is a natural consequence of insight,
A soft returning to your natural state of peace,
Clarity and presence.
Letting go happens not through effort,
But through understanding.
It arises when you see thought for what it really is.
So let's pause for a moment and notice what's moving through your mind right now.
Maybe it's planning.
Maybe it's worry.
Maybe it's a swirl of thoughts that seem important,
But are actually just noise.
Whatever it is,
Just notice it.
Not to fix it,
But to see that it's made of thought.
All experience flows through the principle of thought.
Thought is what creates the sensation of pressure,
Of urgency,
Of needing to sort things out before the day can begin.
But here's the gentle truth.
None of that needs your attention right now.
You don't have to manage your thoughts.
You don't have to chase them away.
You don't have to figure them out.
Just notice that they're there.
Like weather moving through the sky.
You are not the weather.
You are the sky.
Letting go is what happens when you realize the weather is not who you are.
And the moment you see that,
The tension starts to dissolve all on its own.
So,
Let's take another breath in and out.
Can you feel what's happening in your body right now?
Tension perhaps,
A tightness in the chest or shoulders,
Maybe even a feeling of fatigue or heaviness.
That's your body,
Letting you know you've been caught in unhelpful thinking.
But your body isn't broken.
It's so wise.
It's designed to alert you when you're believing thought that isn't serving you.
So,
Just notice.
You don't need to label it,
Analyze it or change it.
Simply notice.
And now,
In your own time,
Bring your awareness back to your breath.
Inhale the word let and exhale the word go.
Gently,
Silently,
Just like that.
Let go.
No effort,
No pressure,
Just an invitation.
You don't have to repeat it for any set amount of time.
Just long enough to feel yourself returning,
Dropping back into the present moment.
Back into who you really are beneath the noise.
This calm you begin to feel now.
It isn't something you've created.
It's something you've returned to.
This is your natural state.
This is the truth of you.
You were never meant to carry all that thinking.
And you don't have to.
Letting go is not something you do.
It's what happens when you stop trying to make your experience better.
And you simply see that your experience is being created by thought.
The moment you see that,
Clarity returns.
Presence returns.
And with it,
A gentle sense of ease.
You haven't added anything.
You've simply stopped holding on.
Take one last breath.
Let go.
And when you're ready,
Gently open your eyes and begin your day from this softer place.
You are already enough.
You are already home.
Letting go is just remembering that.
Thank you for being here.
