This gentle reminder explores how overthinking is not a sign of brokenness, but simply a habit of the mind trying to do too much. From a 3 Principles perspective, this track invites you to come home to the present and see that clarity and calm are your natural state, always waiting beneath the mental noise.

Welcome,

I'm so glad you're here,

I'm glad you pressed play today.

If your mind has been busy lately,

Caught in loops trying to figure things out,

You're in exactly the right place.

Let's take a few minutes to gently settle together.

Start by sitting or lying down in a way that feels easy.

There's nothing you need to do right now,

Nowhere to get to,

No problems to solve in this moment.

But let's begin with a breath,

A soft,

Natural breath in and a gentle breath out.

And again,

Breathing in and breathing out.

Just letting the body settle,

Even slightly.

Feel your shoulders soften,

Feel the weight of your body supported by the chair or the bed or the ground beneath you.

Let this moment hold you.

Right here,

There is calm.

Right here,

There is clarity.

Even if your mind is still busy,

That's okay.

We're not trying to stop the thought.

We're just noticing.

Welcoming even the busyness and letting it pass.

Overthinking is not a sign that something is wrong.

It's just the mind trying to do too much,

Trying to help,

Trying to solve.

But from the understanding of the three principles,

We can see something different,

A gentle truth.

Something to breathe into right now.

Your feelings come from thought,

Not from your circumstances,

Not from the world outside you,

But from the ebb and flow of thought,

Moment by moment.

That means your okayness,

Your well-being is never out there.

It's already here.

You don't need to fix the thoughts.

You don't need to push them away.

I invite you to just notice them,

Like clouds in the sky,

Like waves on the surface of something much deeper,

Much stiller.

You are not your thoughts.

You are the awareness behind them.

So if overthinking is present right now,

Let it be.

Let it swirl if it must,

But you don't have to chase it.

You don't have to figure anything out.

There's a deeper part of you that isn't stirred by all that noise,

A peaceful knowing,

A natural wisdom.

Take another breath now,

Soft and easy.

Let the breath remind you,

You're alive,

You're here and you're okay.

You don't have to sort out the future.

You certainly don't have to resolve the past.

This moment is enough.

When you notice yourself in overthinking,

That's not a problem.

It's an invitation.

It's a gentle nudge from your inner compass,

Letting you know that you've gotten a little caught up and you can always come back,

Back to this breath,

Back to this stillness.

Let go just a little into this peace.

There's really nothing wrong with you.

Nothing to fix.

Nothing to control.

Just this breath.

Just this moment.

Underneath the noise of the mind,

You are already well.

Already whole.

Already home.

Like the stillness of the deep water beneath those surface waves.

You are the depth of the water,

The peace and stillness down there.

You are not those waves bobbing around on the surface.

Let's rest here,

In this peace,

For a few quiet moments together.

And now,

As we come to the end of this short practice,

Carry this reminder with you.

You don't need to solve overthinking.

It's only helpful to recognize it for what it is.

Thoughts passing through.

And the more you notice that,

The more space opens up.

The more clarity finds its way back to you,

All on its own.

Take one last breath in.

And out.

And out.

If you choose to,

You can gently open your eyes if they've been closed.

Wiggle your fingers or toes.

And return to your day.

With just a little more ease,

And a little more spaciousness.

Thank you for being here.

You are not your thought.

You are the calm beneath them.
