Intrusive Thoughts | 2 Minute Reset
Caught in an intrusive thoughts loop? If your mind is repeating unwanted thoughts, images, or “what if” scenarios and you feel stuck arguing with them, this 2-minute reset is here to help. Using gentle breathing and grounding, you’ll practise stepping back from the thought rather than fighting it. This short practice supports nervous system regulation and helps you unhook from mental spirals without needing certainty or reassurance. Listen at night when rumination keeps you awake, during the day when a thought won’t let go, after being triggered by something you read or heard, as a lunchtime reset, before bed, or anytime your mind feels loud and repetitive. Supportive for intrusive thoughts, overthinking, OCD-related spirals, and anxiety loops. You don’t need to stop the thought, instead focus on a long exhale.
