Today,
I'm going to talk a bit about the space,
The space between creation.
Once you go on a soul art journey or any journey in your life,
Whenever you set an intention,
Get ready to move into a new phase or to really work on a transformation that you're looking for.
Once that intention is set,
There are so many things at play.
It's not just the action.
That you take.
And we're going to talk about that today.
So let's just start.
Just everybody grounding,
Getting to the present moment.
So just go ahead and close your eyes.
And just take a breath.
And notice with your eyes closed the temperature of the air on your skin.
Notice where the air touches your skin your body Notice the quality of light behind your eyelids as they're closed.
Open up your inner ears for a minute and just notice whatever sounds are present.
Notice how far you can hear.
What sounds are there in your space or right outside of your space?
Notice your body in space.
What is the shape of your body?
Can you feel into the angles and the curves?
The density of your body,
Your legs,
Your thighs,
Your glutes.
Can you sense the density here in this moment in your body?
I would just,
If there's any aromas in your room,
I can take a deep breath.
Feel the air going in and the air going out.
Are there any aromas,
Any smells present for you?
And lastly,
Just notice the surface that's supporting you.
Is it hard?
Is it soft?
Do you feel secure on the surface?
Hmm.
So we're going to talk a bit.
About steeping steeping when life when you are you know you're working on something and all of a sudden you know maybe life takes over ordinary moments take over and that thing you're working on doesn't just disappear It's still working in the background.
It's still working with your energy.
It's still working with your space.
It's still working with what you're trying to manifest.
So in a soul art journey,
When I start on a soul art journey,
I have an intention.
And we talked about that day one.
Mine was,
I am showing up for myself.
And once I set that intention,
My journey is not over until I finish the spirit action,
Until I finish the actual inspired action that comes from the insights I learned in the soul art journey.
So right now I'm in the spirit action.
This intention is still taking me places.
You know,
It's still coming up.
Things are still,
Synchronicities are happening in my life and things are beginning to bubble up.
But I'm not really focused on it right now.
All I'm focused on is getting through the spirit action,
Right?
So all of these things are still working because my energy was put into that intention.
And it's just like we do in life.
There are things that we want to put our energy towards in life,
Right?
Whether it be taking care of your kids,
Taking care of your hearth,
Manifesting something,
Money,
Whatever it be.
We have these things that we put intentions into our life that we want to shift and transform.
But often we end up focusing really hard on it.
When a lot of times,
Once we create that intention,
We can allow it to steep in our life.
I showed you last time I had all of my words on there,
All of the excuses,
All of the things that happened around abandoning myself.
And then I painted it and then I put it in a bath.
Right.
And I really began to give it the ritual of cleansing.
Once I did that and I laid it down flat,
I didn't touch it for a week.
I didn't touch it.
It was on my floor.
I walked around it.
I,
You know,
Tiptoed around it or walked right on it at some times.
Like it was just there and it wasn't in my mind.
I was going about my business.
I was taking care of the kids.
I was cooking.
I was doing my business.
I was,
You know,
All of these things,
Washing the clothes,
Going for walks.
Life was there.
My everyday life,
My ordinary moments were all there for that week.
But I didn't know what I wanted to create on top of the paint yet,
Right?
Washed,
That I cleansed,
Right?
And I laid it down flat in this beautiful ritual through that week.
Of not doing anything letting it steep not pushing it not checking in all the time not every day going what do i want to do here right just allowing it to steep this is what started to come out As soon as I felt that the energy was changing,
I began to paint on it.
So this was a part,
But it was a week between,
A week of just living and having these things come in and noticing,
Being aware of my life,
Right?
And noticing what was happening.
After another little steeping,
Once I let that dry,
I walked around it.
This was the next piece that came out,
The spiral in the center.
But I wasn't pushing it.
I wasn't forcing it.
I was aware with it.
I was aware of what was happening in my life as I went about my tasks,
Right?
And then when I felt ready,
When I was like,
There's something more to this,
I began to start painting again.
So there were things happening in my life.
There were things that I was aware of that I was seeing throughout my life that were informing what wanted to happen.
And this happens in everything that we do with an intention.
Like this day and age when we want to do something we start checking all the time we start fixing all the time we can begin like to think all the time about something and it doesn't allow it the space to steep so i want you to think about Is there a project or an intention or a manifestation or something that you are working on that you're trying to bring to life?
Maybe it's a decision that you need to make,
Right?
Has anyone had that experience where you need to make a decision and finally you just stop thinking about it?
And then all of a sudden you're like,
Oh,
That's what I need to do.
By the way,
That happens to me all the time.
I have these moments.
I get into that.
I'm like,
I got to think,
I think,
Think,
Think,
Think,
Think,
Think,
Think.
And I put all of this energy and force into it.
Go.
I have the answer.
As soon as I let it steep without my constant attention,
It comes to me.
It often happens when I'm lost something and my intention is to find it and I will go crazy.
I will ask everyone in the house to find it with me,
Right?
And then all of a sudden when I stop and I just let it steep,
I end up knowing exactly where it is or it shows up right in my life.
Has anyone had that happen?
It's the same thing in life with manifestation,
With money,
With transforming,
With working with grief,
All of it.
If we give it some time to steep,
That we find the next step or the next piece to it.
And all these ordinary moments,
They're so beautiful.
So think about something that you've been,
Maybe something that's been steeping for you or something that you are really focused on wanting to change,
That you have an intention with,
Right?
Just think about that.
Bring that to mind for a minute.
And just for a second,
Instead of focusing on the problem,
Can we imagine?
Maybe that it's steeping,
That it needs time,
Right?
And think of whatever issue or solution you're looking for,
Right?
Can you imagine that the solution is just brewing underground quietly?
It's almost like the seed in the soil,
The wine in the wine cellar,
The tea bag in the water,
Right?
We don't disturb it.
You're not supposed to move that tea all around.
You just let it go and you let it steep,
Right?
So think about,
Can you imagine whatever it is your thing is right now,
What you're working towards?
Can you just take a moment and just turn it around and say,
Okay.
Where is it steeping in my life?
Where can I give it the space to steep,
To grow,
To relax,
To spark,
Right?
What in your life right now?
Might need some steeping instead of constant attention.
Can you sense the difference between healthy patients and avoiding action?
And how does that feel in your body,
That question?
Where have you been checking in on something so often that you might be interrupting the natural process?
And what would it feel like to trust?
What would it feel like to trust?
That life is working on this thing.
Even when you're not.
And when I say life,
It can be your energy,
A part of your energy.
It could be part of just the life around you,
Right?
So let's just close our eyes for a minute.
You have that thing that you're working on that may need to steep,
Right?
So close your eyes for a minute.
And you can almost imagine,
I'm just going to bring you through a few body parts for a second.
And when I bring you through a body part,
I just want you to,
It's almost like laying,
Tucking into bed or laying down a blanket on that area to rest and relax.
Just the awareness and the imagination alone will do it.
Right.
So just closing your eyes.
And on the back of your head.
Just as if you're like tucking it in,
Putting a blanket over it.
Both eyes,
Both eyelids.
Globes of the eyes.
Eyelashes.
Eye socket.
All the little muscles behind both eyes.
Gently.
Laying a calm warmth over it.
Cheekbones both cheekbones right cheekbone left cheekbone Both cheeks,
Right cheek.
Left cheek.
And maybe the inside of both cheeks,
The right inside of the cheek,
The left inside of the cheek.
The teeth,
The tongue.
Gentle.
Layer of warmth.
The throat.
Both shoulders.
Gently laying a layer of warmth down both arms from the shoulders to the elbows,
To the wrists,
To the hands,
To the fingertips.
Take a nice breath in.
And let it out.
And whatever it is,
That you are holding onto,
That you have all that attention on,
That you want to create with intention.
Just notice how you hold that thing in your body.
Do you grip it?
Do you try to solve it?
Do you keep an eye on it?
Do you check it constantly?
Feel the energy that you work with this thing in your body.
Notice any sensations across your body.
Any images that come up.
Maybe you hear sounds.
Sometimes I feel like I hear it clicking.
Internally when I'm working on something and I want to get it done.
Just notice your relationship to it,
How it feels in your body.
And let's rotate that a little bit.
So whatever that thing is.
Instead of seeing it as a problem to be solved,
Can you imagine it as something alive?
It's doing its own work.
Think of it as its own work underground.
Instead of you having to do all of the work,
This thing is alive and it does work alongside you.
What if while you were busy with all of the ordinary moments of your life,
This situation quietly rearranges itself?
And the solutions were forming in ways that you cannot direct.
That you cannot control.
And what if trust?
Looked like letting it steep.
Like giving it the gift.
Of non-attention just for a while What does that feel like in your body?
What does it feel like to hold that thing that you want?
And to trust that it has its own life within it.
Can you notice how your nervous system shifts?
With that shift.
Can you notice any changes with your nervous system?
I don't have complete control over this thing.
I've set my intention.
And now I can trust.
What does that feel like?
How does the nervous system respond when you stop trying to manage what the outcome is going to be?
Maybe it's going to be better than you imagined.
So slowly just take a nice deep breath into your nose.
Open your mouth and sigh it out.
Feel your body.
Can wiggle it out if you need to.
It's so interesting because when I create a soul art,
I never have an inkling of what it's going to look like in the end.
I completely trust that process and I can put it outside of myself.
And part of my work is,
Okay,
How do I take that process and put it into my life,
Right?
How do I take that trust,
That surrender,
And that knowing that it's a living journey,
Right?
And bring it into the things that I want to create in my life.
And when I do it,
I always see the rewards of that.
Right?
And life is so much more interesting,
To tell you the truth.
Like I find all of these paths of learning in new ways when I allow things to stick.
So trust that while you're living your ordinary life,
There are forces at play.
Your energy is working.
Your higher self is working.
Your spirit team is working,
Right?
