Welcome to this EFT tapping guided audio for deep and restorative sleep.

You can start by getting yourself comfortable in your bed and lay down if you wish or alternatively just sit at the side of your bed or in a chair that's in the bedroom.

Somewhere that invites you to move towards sleep when you're ready.

And for now we just want to allow the body to settle.

If it feels safe you can close your eyes and place your hands on your heart space and take a slow deep breath in through the nose.

Hold for a moment and exhale slowly through the mouth.

Again take a breath in and out and let's allow the day to begin to loosen its grip.

There's nothing to fix right now,

There's nowhere to be,

Nothing to solve just here in this moment.

So when you're ready we're going to start tapping and we're going to do a few rounds of tapping.

Acknowledging how you may be feeling right now.

If my words resonate please use them,

If they don't please swap them out to words that make more sense to you.

Okay when you're ready,

Whether you're lying down or whether you're sitting,

We'll start tapping on the side of the hand.

Repeat the words after me.

Even though my mind feels busy right now,

I accept that this is how I'm feeling.

Even though there's restlessness in my body,

I honour how hard this day has been.

Even though part of me is worried that I won't sleep,

I choose to meet that part of me with kindness.

Start tapping on the eyebrow point,

We'll go through the round,

I'll call out each point as we go.

Eyebrow,

My mind is so busy right now.

Side of eye,

Thoughts are racing in every direction.

Under the eye,

Replaying conversations over and over again.

Under the nose,

I'm already planning tomorrow.

The chin,

I'm analysing things that I said or I didn't say.

The collarbone,

I still feel switched on.

Under the arm,

There's still tension in my body.

Top of the head,

I'm tired but I'm just not ready for sleep yet.

Eyebrow,

What if I can't sleep?

Side of eye,

What if I'm going to wake up tired tomorrow?

Under the eye,

There's too much to do for that to happen.

Under the nose,

I just want to stop.

Chin,

Stop putting pressure on myself.

Collarbone,

I don't need to force myself to sleep.

Under the arm,

I don't need to be in control right now.

Top of the head,

Take a full breath and exhale and allow the body to soften just a fraction.

Eyebrow point,

Maybe my body is just trying to protect me.

Side of eye,

Maybe it thinks I still need to stay alert.

Under the eye,

It hasn't got the memo.

Under the nose,

It's as if something is unfinished.

The chin,

I've been carrying a lot lately.

Collarbone,

All these responsibilities.

Under the arm,

All these expectations.

Top of the head,

All this pressure I put on myself.

Eyebrow,

No wonder it's hard to switch off.

Side of eye,

I've been in doing mode all day.

Under the eye,

Solving so many problems.

Under the nose,

Showing up for others.

The chin,

Holding everything together.

Collarbone,

Of course my system needs time.

Under the arm,

Of course this makes sense.

Top of the head,

I can't go from 100 to 0 instantly.

I need a moment.

Back to the eyebrow,

Maybe I don't have to hold on to everything right now.

Side of eye,

For tonight maybe I could let it go.

Under the eye,

I can set everything down.

Under the nose,

All those unfinished tasks.

The chin,

The conversations.

Collarbone,

The worries.

Under the arm,

The what ifs.

Top of the head,

Maybe they can all wait until the morning.

Eyebrow,

The night time is not for solving anything.

Side of eye,

The night is for restoring.

Under the eye,

My body knows how to do this.

Under the nose,

I've slept before.

And the chin,

Thousands of times.

And the collarbone,

I know how to do this.

And I don't have to force it.

Under the arm,

I don't have to chase it.

Top of the head,

Maybe I can just allow it.

Eyebrow,

But part of me wants to stay in control.

Side of eye,

Part of me wants to keep thinking.

Under the eye,

To stay alert.

Under the nose,

Just in case.

And the chin,

Just in case something goes wrong.

Collarbone,

Just in case I forgot something.

Under the arm,

Just in case I'm not prepared.

Top of the head,

But I don't need to do any of that right now.

Eyebrow,

It is safe for my body to soften.

Side of eye,

It is safe to close the day.

Under the eye,

It is safe to let my guard down.

Under the nose,

Nothing is required of me right now.

The chin,

I am allowed to rest.

On the collarbone,

I am allowed to let my muscles relax.

Under the arm,

I can let my jaw soften.

Top of the head,

I can let my shoulders drop.

Eyebrow,

I can breathe in calm.

Side of eye,

I can breathe out tension.

Under the eye,

I can inhale ease.

Under the nose,

I can exhale effort.

On the chin,

Slower and slower.

Collarbone,

Heavier and heavier.

Under the arm,

Softer and softer.

Top of the head,

Take a long slow breath.

Now as we start to settle down,

Maybe you are already in bed and lying down.

Maybe you are sitting,

Maybe now might be the time to lay down,

Get comfortable.

Tapping on the eyebrow point,

My body knows how to rest.

Side of eye,

My cells know how to repair.

Under the eye,

My brain knows how to reset.

Under the nose,

I am designed for sleep.

On the chin,

I deserve deep rest.

On the collarbone,

Deep rest that nourishes me.

Under the arm,

Deep rest that restores me.

Top of the head,

That strengthens me.

Eyebrow,

I am safe in this moment.

Side of eye,

I am safe in this room.

Under the eye,

I am safe in my body.

Under the nose,

The day is complete.

On the chin,

I have done enough.

On the collarbone,

I am enough.

Under the arm,

I can let go now.

Top of the head,

I choose sleep.

And if you are still awake,

That's okay.

We can lay or sit gently,

Place your hands upon your heart space.

And we can just imagine tapping through the points.

You can either say the words or just listen.

Softening.

Sinking.

Floating.

Drifting.

Letting go.

Nothing to do.

Nowhere to be.

Just rest.

Take a final long breath in.

And exhale slowly.

Notice how your body feels now.

Even the smallest shift matters.

Allowing sleep to come.

And if you wake in the night,

That's okay.

You're still resting.

It's safe to rest.

You're doing beautifully.

Let the night hold you.

Sleep well.
