In this audio-recording Ruben is responding to Cassy, who shared another beautiful message in the online classroom of the online course Navigating Intense Moments In Life. Ruben's response might be helpful for others to listen to. It is with great joy that Ruben is now sharing a series of conversations and responses between his 'students' (fellow travelers) and him, for those who feel like deepening their effortless practice. Cassy starts by sharing: Thank you again, Ruben. This session filled me with great warmth and a hearty, spacious pause. After recapping the first session, this one felt perfect, another step in the process of coming home to my ever-present effervescence. I've had many experiences in life when the soft pause catalyzed a new way of being and seeing in situations that seemed too big for one measly human. Cassy then continues sharing about her intense moments in life which you can find in the online classroom.

Hi Cassie,

Thank you again for your message.

You are writing,

Thank you Ruben,

This session filled me with great warmth and a hearty,

Spacious pause.

After recapping the first session,

This one felt perfect,

Another step in the process of coming home.

You're sharing some beautiful stories here,

Which I recommend reading if you are listening right now to this message.

Moments in your life where you felt totally connected,

Intense moments where this happened.

And your last words in this message,

Which touched me as well,

Were,

And I always believe in unconditional,

Defined love.

That's so beautiful.

It seems to be that when life is very,

Very intense,

Somehow life is also showing us that it's to be trusted fully.

As if help is automatically arising,

Somehow,

In mysterious ways.

Yeah,

Since you are listening right now,

Shall we just enjoy this moment together?

Cassie,

Again,

Shall we take a deep breath in,

And notice once again this unconditional,

Defined love,

Which is always here for us.

Sometimes hard to feel or experience,

But since we're here now,

Together,

Somehow life brought us together,

Mysteriously so.

Beautiful,

Showing that life is supportive.

And just to make it a little bit more clear from my point of view,

There's no difference between you and me.

And I know that you know this as well.

That's very beautiful that we're able to connect beyond the feeling of being this person.

Somehow life is showing that although life is very difficult at times,

Although there's a lot of suffering within this mysterious life,

There's also this beautiful,

Soft and calm and peaceful connection available,

Which goes beyond this feeling of being this person.

Which just makes this whole body-mind system of Ribbon sigh deeply,

A relief,

A deep relief.

There's nothing to hold on to or to keep up when connecting in this way.

There's nothing wise to say,

Not at all,

Absolutely nothing.

There's just this,

This that is nothing and everything at the same time.

And these are just words again,

So let's just be silent for a bit.

Thank you again,

Cassie,

For sharing so beautifully.

It's a true blessing to receive your words,

To embrace all that you're sharing.

It's just very touching for me.

May you be well and may you notice,

Moment to moment,

This beautiful,

Unconditional,

Divine love.

And thank you for sharing this with me and also for others that might listen right now.

May you also be well.

Let us all take a deep breath in again and release all the tension that still might be here.

Noticing that we are breathing,

That somehow a benevolent force is breathing us.

Somehow it seems to be the case that something wants us to be here,

Exactly as we are.

Hmm.

The question,

Can life itself be enough,

Is arising here again.

For me this question is always quite helpful to contemplate,

Like,

Do I really need to add something to life?

When connecting,

So to speak,

With this unconditional loving space,

This loving awareness,

All seems to be so perfect,

So complete.

May we all notice this moment to moment.

Hmm.

Yeah,

Wishing you,

Cassie,

A beautiful day again.

And you that might be listening to this message as well.

I'm also wishing you a beautiful day.

Hope this short guidance was helpful.

May it soften you just a little bit.

Thank you,

Cassie.

Much love again to you.

And please don't hesitate to contact me again.

Bye.

Meet your Teacher

Beautiful, Ruben. Thank you again, and especially for the rhetorical question: can life itself be enough. It seems to be that being able to say yes, can make the difference between suffering and acceptance for the larger tangible and intangible aspects of this life, when we are present with the quiet hum of it all. Sending love. 🙏💜
