Free As A Bird | Transformative Live Forest Sessions

Another 'freely flowing meditative transmission' by Ruben. During these three days he's inviting you to imagine sitting next to him in the forest. The depth of each of these sessions is truly palpable, as all of these sessions are spontaneously recorded with such great connection to nature. Nothing prepared, just you and Ruben tuning in to that, which is always unchanging, soft and loving. As soon as an intimate space is created the journey begins. You'll notice yourself dropping slowly into the Unchanging Impersonal Loving Essence of life. From time to time you will be listening to the birds while simultaneously noticing that life in its essence is stable and unaffected by anything. Let yourself be guided beyond words and concepts. And may you enjoy the ever-so-clear message that comes through in such a soft, soothing and simple way. As with all of Ruben's teachings, these three days in the forest also are exploring Short Moments of Clarity and Softness. Ruben himself is very much drawn to Theravāda Buddhism. And although he doesn't exactly practice like the monks do, he does notice that the wisdom of these teachings have a very profound effect on his wellbeing and understanding of life. The Thai Forest tradition is the branch of Theravāda Buddhism in Thailand that most strictly upholds the original monastic rules of discipline laid down by the Buddha. As pointed out in the first session by Ruben, in this description some of the teachers will be shared in case one is interested to look up any of these teachers. Some are also on Insight Timer. The following teachers are of great inspiration to Ruben: Luang Por Chah, Luang Por Sumedho, Ajann Anan, Ajahn Achalo, Ajahn Jayasāro, Ajahn Amaro, Ajahn Brahm, Ajahn Kovilo and Ajahn Nisabho. Meet your Teacher

Ruben Bach is a 'consciousness trainer' and meditation teacher. He provides sessions on various themes that focus on 'living from clarity' and the research into the (loving) essence of our existence. Ruben’s guidance is known to be greatly helpful for those searching for ‘Truth’. It is Ruben's greatest passion to introduce people to the transience of this life. To have them experience that every moment is so incredibly precious. To show that, as it were, all life experiences can be looked at through completely different eyes. Less from a closed ‘state of mind’, and more from openness in a spatial manner. Beyond all thoughts… there… somewhere… with no location… Ruben shows you the wonder of life, again and again. Additional background information. Volunteer and non-profit projects: Founder of InnerCreations | Center for Awakened Living Founder of The Love Trail and The Calm Down Project. Founder and co-creator of the ‘Embracing Death project’ which is available on Insight Timer as an online course. In addition to his work as an ‘consciousness trainer’, Ruben is a certified volunteer active in Dale Borglum’s Living/Dying project. Here Ruben guides people who are directly involved with their imminent death. The Living/Dying project is a worldwide organization that has been active since the 1970s. Lesson 2

Finding Freedom In All Circumstances

During this first live session Ruben is inviting you to imagine sitting next to him. While listening to his spontaneous sharing, you will slowly immerse yourself in nature. Automatically opening up for that in life, which is totally stable and unaffected by anything. You will be exploring the way you perceive life and by doing so become more familiar with life as it is. Surrendering to life as it is will bring clarity in your daily life. Enjoy the peaceful silence that is transmitted through and in between the words. Like many of Ruben's sessions this one also will bring great relaxation, clarity and deepens a natural trust in life. Ruben will also share how practicing helped him greatly in is own life.

Lesson 3

May I Enjoy In A Very Simple Way That Life Is Okay

During this second live forest session you will slowly tune in to the essence of your true being. While imagining sitting next to each other in the forest, you will be exploring if it's possible to notice a loving, non-personal awareness in the midst of all circumstances. The impermanent nature of life is also touched upon. You will learn the positive effect of tuning into impermanence. It helps to notice the wonder of life and better understand that life in all its expressions is to be trusted fully. Listening to this sessions might stop us from arguing with life. The tendency to manipulate life will most likely decrease. The natural flow of life will be more palpable. During this session Ruben also shares about his own experiences and insights in is own life. Lesson 4

Remembering That You Are Already Home

At the start of this last live forest session you will be practicing a breath meditation. This practice can establish a calm and open mind. When the mind is less active it is often easier to notice that life in its essence is soft, stable and unaffected. After the breath meditation Ruben will take you on another journey beyond all thoughts, feelings, emotions and concepts.
