Namaste.
I'm Rosalie and this is a short yoga nidra to give you a quick boost of energy.
Begin by lying down in your warm and cozy yoga nidra nest.
Nestle in and make any adjustments until you find your most comfortable position.
Now take a deep breath in.
Let it out with a sigh.
Relax your forehead,
Your eyes,
Your jaw,
Your tongue,
Your shoulders,
Completely relaxed.
With every exhale,
Allowing any tension to drain from the body.
Sinking deeper and deeper into the support of the surface beneath you.
And might you welcome the intention for this practice.
I am radiant and full of energy.
Feel this within your whole being as you silently repeat it to yourself.
I am radiant and full of energy.
Now we will rotate our awareness through different parts of the body.
As I name each part,
Bring your awareness to that area.
Allowing your attention just to glide fluidly from one part to the next.
Creating a cascade of relaxation.
Beginning at the crown of your head.
Softening all the muscles of your scalp.
Flowing downwards to the forehead,
The eyes,
The cheeks,
Your nose,
Your chin,
Your jaw,
The whole face and scalp full of sensation.
Flowing downwards through the neck,
Both shoulders,
Elbows,
Wrists,
Palms of both hands,
Tips of both thumbs,
First fingers,
Second,
Third,
Little fingers,
Palms of both hands,
The wrists,
Elbows,
Shoulders,
Your heart space,
Belly,
Both hips,
Knees,
Ankles,
The soles of your feet,
The big toes,
All ten toes.
From the crown of your head to the tips of your toes.
The whole body resting deeply.
Effortless.
Now notice the natural flow of your breath.
Waves of breath flowing in and out.
Without changing your breath,
Imagine every inhale filling yourself up with pure radiant energy.
Flowing through every cell in every part of your body.
And every exhale,
Imagine releasing any old,
Tired energy.
Inhale pure radiant energy.
And exhale old,
Tired energy.
Continue like this for a few more breaths.
The whole body humming,
Buzzing,
Full of pure radiant energy.
Filling yourself up.
Filling every cell in every part of your body.
Now welcome your intention for this practice once again.
Feel it through your whole being as you repeat it to yourself.
I am radiant and full of energy.
Now once again feel the support of the earth beneath you.
Take a deep breath in through the nose.
Side out through the mouth.
When you're ready,
Slowly begin to awaken the body.
Gently moving your fingers,
Your toes.
Take a moment to notice how you feel.
Notice any shifts,
Any benefits you might have cultivated within yourself during this short practice.
Just bask in these benefits for another breath or two.
And could you make a vow to yourself to carry these benefits forward with you into the rest of your day.
