Hi,
I'm Rosalie and welcome to this Yoga Nidra for manifestation.
Yoga Nidra is such a simple yet incredibly powerful practice.
It's a combination of guiding your body to deeply relax whilst keeping your mind awake and alert.
You'll be flirting with that in-between state between being awake and being asleep.
Yoga Nidra helps your body deeply relax and your mind switch off.
But it goes much deeper than that.
Today's practice can be truly transformational.
It will enable you to use the powers of your mind and your imagination to achieve or develop anything you want in your life,
That one thing you want above all others.
Try to remain awake the entire time but don't worry if you slip away.
On some level,
You'll be picking up everything I say.
All you have to do is relax and listen to my voice.
Just follow my instructions with your complete attention without trying to analyze anything I say.
So let's get started.
I'd like you to lie down and find your most comfortable position.
Stretch your legs out and allow your feet to flop to the sides.
If you have any discomfort in your lower back,
It might be nice to pop a large pillow or a bolster underneath your knees.
You might also like to place an eye pillow on your eyes or cover yourself with a blanket.
Do whatever it takes to find your most comfortable position.
Now allow your arms to relax by your sides,
Palms facing up.
Take a moment to shift around,
Make any last adjustments to find your most comfortable position.
Throughout the practice,
Try to remain completely still but if there's anything that prevents you from fully relaxing,
There's no harm in moving around and then returning to stillness.
Now close your eyes if they're still open.
And we'll begin by taking three big cleansing breaths.
Take a big inhale through your nose.
Open your mouth.
Sighing all the air out.
And again,
Big inhale.
Even more big inhale.
Completely exhale.
With every exhale,
Feeling your body getting heavier and heavier,
Sinking deeper and deeper.
And I'd like you now to feel all the meeting points between your back body and the floor of the mattress beneath you.
With every exhale,
Feeling your body getting heavier and heavier,
Sinking deeper and deeper,
Just letting go.
And now I'd like you to silently repeat to yourself,
I am practicing yoga nidra.
I am awake and alert.
And I'd like you now to draw your awareness to all the sounds outside this room.
Just noticing them one by one.
Not engaging with them.
Just noticing them.
And now bring your awareness to all the sounds inside this room.
Noticing them one by one.
And now bring your awareness to your entire physical body,
Lying here,
Completely relaxed,
Completely still.
Feel and imagine the floor beneath you,
The ceiling above you,
And the walls all around you.
And I'd like you to draw your awareness inwards now.
And I'd like you to ask yourself,
What is the one thing you would like to develop or achieve in your life right now?
Just allow that to come to you.
What's the one thing?
Now I'd like you to form an affirmation,
A short positive statement set in the present tense based on this desire.
If you're already working with an affirmation,
Please bring that one to mind.
Now I'd like you to silently repeat this affirmation to yourself three times,
Putting all your emotion and feeling into it.
Now let it go.
We will begin now to rotate our awareness through different parts of the body.
All you have to do is relax and listen to my voice.
Simply try to feel each part of your body as I name it,
Without moving a muscle.
We will move quickly from one part to the next.
Standing on the right side,
Focus on your right thumb.
Bring all your awareness to your right thumb.
Index finger,
Middle finger,
Ring finger,
Little finger.
The palm of your hand,
The back of your hand,
Your right wrist,
Forearm,
Elbow,
Upper arm,
Your right shoulder,
Armpit,
Waist,
Your right hip,
Thigh,
Knee,
Lower leg,
Your right ankle,
The sole of your foot,
The top of your foot,
Your right big toe,
Second toe,
Third toe,
Fourth toe,
And little toe.
Allowing all the muscle,
So the right side of your body,
To relax.
Be keeping your mind awake and alert.
Focus now on your left thumb.
Bring all your awareness to your left thumb.

Allowing all the muscles of the back of your body to relax.
Allowing yourself to relax deeper and deeper,
But keeping your mind awake and alert.
Focus now on the crown of your head,
Allowing all the muscles of the crown of your head to relax,
Your forehead,
Your right eyebrow,
Your left eyebrow,
The space between your eyebrows,
Focus on the space between your eyebrows,
Your right eye,
Your left eye,
Your nose,
The tip of your nose,
Your right cheek,
Your left cheek,
Your right ear,
Your left ear,
Your upper lip,
Your bottom lip,
The thin line between your lips,
Your chin,
Your jaw,
The center of your throat,
The center of your chest,
And your belly.
Allowing all the muscles of the front of your body to relax.
Allowing yourself to relax deeper and deeper,
But keeping your mind awake and alert.
And I'd like you now to focus on the right side of your body,
Feeling only the right side of your body from the crown of your head to the tips of your toes.
And now the left,
Feeling only the left side of your body from the crown of your head all the way down to the tips of your toes.
And now your back body,
Feeling only the back of your body from the back of your head all the way down to your heels.
And now your front body,
Feeling only the front of your body from the crown of your head to the tips of your toes.
And now your whole body as one,
Feeling your whole body as one,
Lying here completely relaxed,
Completely still,
But keeping your mind awake and alert.
And I'd like you now to bring your awareness to your breath.
Feel the flow of your breath in and out of your body.
Feeling your body rise as you inhale and fall as you exhale.
And I'd like you to imagine every inhale bringing pure,
Fresh energy into your body and every exhale washing away any old,
Tired energy.
Inhale fresh,
Pure energy and exhale old,
Tired energy.
Breathing like this.
Feeling awake and alert,
Inhaling fresh,
Pure energy,
Exhaling old,
Tired energy.
Feeling to maintain awareness of your breath rising and falling,
Feeling the rising and falling of your breath.
We will begin now to count down our breaths from 27 to one.
The breath rises 27.
It falls 27.
It rises 26.
It falls 26.
It rises 25.
It falls 25.
It rises 24.
It falls 24.
It rises 23.
It falls 23.
It rises 22.
It falls 22.
It rises 21.
It falls 21.
It rises 20.
It falls 20.
So continue counting down all the way to one,
Remaining awake and alert.
Inhale fresh,
Pure energy and exhale old,
Tired energy.
Inhale fresh,
Pure energy and exhale old,
Tired energy.

Pure energy and exhale old,
Tired energy.

Pure energy and exhale old,

Now let it go,
Lying here,
Completely relaxed,

I'd like you now to invite the feeling of heaviness into your body.
Feeling your body so heavy,
You start to sink deeper and deeper.
Now lightness,
Invite the feeling of lightness into your body.
Feeling your body so light,
You start to float upwards,
As light as a feather.
And now heaviness,
Invite the feeling of heaviness through your whole body.
Feeling your body so heavy,
You start to sink deeper and deeper.
Now lightness,
Invite the feeling of lightness through your whole body.
Feeling your body so light,
You start to float upwards,
As light as a feather.
Now let it go.
I'd like you now to invite the feeling of heat through your whole body.
Feeling your body so hot,
As though you're lying beneath the blazing sun.
And now coldness,
Invite the feeling of coldness through your whole body.
Feeling your body so cold,
As though you're lying in snow.
And now heat,
Inviting the feeling of heat through your whole body.
Feeling your body so hot,
As though you're lying beneath the blazing sun.
And now coldness,
Invite the feeling of coldness through your whole body.
Feeling your body so cold,
As though you're lying in snow.
And now let it go,
Lying here,
Completely relaxed,
But keeping your mind awake and alert.
I'd like you now to come back to the point in between your eyebrows.
Feel the point in between your eyebrows.
And I'd like you to remember the affirmation you said at the beginning of this practice.
And I'd like you to visualize what you look like with this in your life.
Make this picture as clear and as detailed as you can.
Where are you?
Is there anyone with you?
What are you saying?
Notice the expression on your face,
Your body language,
What you're wearing.
Notice all the details as you paint a very clear picture in your mind of what you look like with this affirmation a part of you.
Holding onto this picture,
I'd like you to ask yourself how does it feel for this to be a part of you?
And allow all those feelings to come forth.
Perhaps feelings of happiness,
Success,
Achievement,
Whatever it is for you,
Allow all those feelings to flow through your whole body,
Saturating every cell in every part of your body,
Feeling what it's like for this affirmation to be true and manifest.
Allowing all those feelings to flow through your whole body.
And I'd like you to gather up all those good feelings and radiate them outwards.
And all these good feelings above you,
Send them beneath you,
To the right and to the left.
So you're lying here,
Completely encircled in a big bubble of good feelings.
Really feel this.
Feel yourself expanding more and more,
Full of these good feelings.
Holding onto these good feelings,
I'd like you now to repeat your affirmation to yourself three times,
But put all your feeling and emotion into it as you say it.
Now let it go.
Lying here,
Completely relaxed,
Completely still,
But keeping your mind awake and alert.
I'd like you now to ask yourself if there's a message that needs to come through.
Just ask yourself,
What do I need to know?
Remain open and receptive to whatever comes.
Any thoughts,
Any insights,
Any memories.
Ask yourself one more time.
What do I need to know?
Now let it go.
The practice of yoga nidra is now complete.
I'd like you to come fully back into your body,
Fully back into this room.
But remember,
This feeling of being completely relaxed is always here waiting for you.
It's just a few breaths away.
But for now,
I'd like you to bring your awareness back into your right thumb.
Really making little circles with your right thumb,
Then brushing your thumb across your fingertips.
Let the hand go and bring your awareness into your left thumb,
Making little circles with your left thumb,
Then brushing it across your fingertips.
Bringing your awareness down into your toes,
Starting to wiggle through the toes,
Perhaps making little circles with your ankles.
When it feels right for you,
Go ahead and reach your arms up and overhead,
Giving yourself a really nice big stretch.
And in your own time,
Draw your knees in towards your chest,
Wrapping your hands around your knees,
Just rocking here from side to side.
And keeping your eyes closed,
Just allow your knees to fall over towards the right,
Curling yourself up into a little ball.
Just for a moment,
Remembering what it felt like to have all those good feelings flowing through you and around you,
What you felt moments ago.
And perhaps setting an intention to allow all those good feelings to follow you throughout the rest of your day.
And keeping your eyes closed,
Just make your way into a seated position.
And we'll go ahead and bring our palms together and rub them back and forth.
And let's place the palms over the eyes.
We'll take three big cleansing breaths.
Big inhale through the nose.
Side all out.
Two more big inhale.
One more big inhale.
Let it all out.
Slowly blink open your eyes.
Let's bring our hands to our heart,
Our chin to our chest.
And to seal our practice,
Let's take a big inhale,
Sweeping the arms up,
Palms touch.
And exhale,
Draw your hands back to your heart.
Bring your hands up to your forehead,
Down to your lips,
And back to your heart.
Finding your beautiful radiant light on everything you think,
Everything you say,
And everything you do.
Namaste.

Great meditation! Great beginning, but when it’s time for repeating the affirmation for the second time, there is a bit too much talking. I found it very difficult to go deep and feel my affirmation while listening. 🙏🏼
