Music Whether you are seated or lying down or even standing,
Just make sure you're comfortable.
And bring your awareness to your very next breath.
Making the conscious decision to focus on your breathing,
To observe it,
To sense it from moment to moment.
Keep your awareness rested on every single inhalation and every single exhalation.
And just begin to observe the breath.
Observe the movement of your body as you breathe.
Observe the movement of the flow of your breath as it comes into your body and as it comes out.
Now listening to your breath.
Whether you are breathing in through your nose or through your mouth,
Just begin to observe any sounds that you can notice as you breathe.
Without judgement,
Without comparing or analysing,
Just notice what sounds are present when you breathe.
Now moving your awareness to the feeling aspect,
To sensation.
What do you feel when you breathe?
What do you feel in your physical body as you gently and effortlessly inhale and exhale?
What feelings and sensations tell you that you're breathing?
Now becoming a witness to your breath,
Becoming an impartial witness to the fact that you are breathing.
Observing whatever is there,
Whatever is present.
Noticing that the breath breathes you.
Your breath situates you in the present moment,
When we remain present to each and every breath.
Opening yourself up to receive the gifts of your breath,
Receiving the gifts of this present moment.
If your eyes are closed,
Softly beginning to open up the eyes,
Returning back to the space that you're in.
And continuing through your day with this cultivation of presence and groundedness.
