Hello people.

This meditation is going to be specifically for the root chakra,

Which is the primitive chakra of the body,

Dealing with areas such as safety and security of our lives,

Our bodies,

Our hearts and our spirits.

You can practice this meditation at any time of the day,

Just finding a quiet and comfortable space to lie or sit down in.

As we begin this meditation,

Closing our eyes,

Coming into the space as it naturally is.

And we're just going to become aware of our body's positioning in this moment.

If we're sitting or lying down,

Where our bodies are positioned,

In what areas,

Or touching the furniture,

Either the chair or the bed.

Just bringing in a sense of situational awareness.

Then just gently,

In order to center ourselves and bring ourselves even deeper in,

We're going to be taking three deep breaths in through the nose for three seconds and out through the nose for three seconds.

So in through the nose,

One,

Two,

Three and out through the nose,

One,

Two,

Three.

In through the nose,

One,

Two,

Three and out through the nose,

One,

Two,

Three.

In through the nose,

One,

Two,

Three.

And out through the nose,

One,

Two,

Three.

Noticing a sense of curiosity,

How your body feels now.

It's a little bit more relaxed than previous.

Just noticing this.

Just when we're noticing,

We're just noticing how we're feeling.

There's nothing in particular we need to feel.

Just how it is in this moment.

Let's just use our imaginations and visualize how we are sitting on a bench near a beautiful river of crystal blue quality on a sunny day.

You can hear the river flowing.

As you feel the wind against your face.

This is a very special place,

A very relaxing place.

The other side of the river is covered in trees,

All varieties of green.

You can smell the pine from the trees.

As the sun caresses your face and your body,

A certain sense of warmth comes into your heart.

As you just sit here for a moment,

Not wanting to do anything,

Just being.

You notice that you are in your special place.

Nobody can harm you here.

None of life's worries are brought into this place.

As you look around,

You notice behind you there's a log cabin.

This is a very safe place for you to be.

As you leave the bench and the river area,

You walk into the log cabin.

A sense of freshness hits you inside the log cabin.

It's as if you never left outside.

You can still smell the pine trees.

Cabin is very woody and bright.

You notice that there's a fire lighting at the end of the cabin and a chair for you to sit in.

As you approach the fire and the chair,

You notice a red bag beside the fire.

You know automatically that this bag is full of your safety and security issues.

It could be safety in relation to finance or safety in relation to your body,

Safety in relation to your childhood.

You notice this bag is quite heavy and it's connected to your soul and spirit at the moment,

Connected to your root chakra,

The primitive chakra of the body.

Just look at it at the very bottom of the spine.

You naturally want to sit in the chair in front of the fire.

As you settle into the chair,

You notice that the fire's energy builds up beneath in the ground.

A vibrant red travels through the ground and into your feet.

This does not burn you.

This is very soothing,

Very groundy.

And you know its final destination is through the root chakra.

Notice the red energy travels up your legs,

Into the knees,

Into the upper legs,

Thighs,

Finally into the hips and into the bottom of the spine,

The root chakra.

It enters the root chakra,

Caressing,

Feeling it but warmth,

Rebalancing,

Refreshing.

Old pathways of thinking around safety and security in your life are weakening,

Rebalancing,

You are feeling safer and safer.

You are very safe with this red energy,

Developing a sense of trust in your life,

A sense of safety and calmness.

The heavy red bag beside the fire begins to get lighter and lighter.

All patterns and beliefs reduce.

It's okay to sit here with this red energy and feel safe and secure in all areas of your life.

Flowing with the river of life on your journey which has no destination.

Noticing what you are feeling at the base of your spine,

A sense of curiosity,

A sense of compassion and love.

Just feeling whatever is in this moment.

The red energy then retreats away from the balanced root chakra leaving remnants of redness around the root,

Retreats down into the ground and back into the vibrant fire.

Feel refreshed and rebalanced.

You once again notice the red bag beside the fireplace.

You feel it's a lot lighter than before.

You feel a natural inkling to throw the bag into the fire in order to transmute the energy of old patterns into new fresh energy.

Different senses of lightness comes over you and freshness in order to move on and move past.

You then once again go outside to the river and sit watching the river of life flowing and meandering on its path.

Observing,

Noticing,

Patience and all the droplets of water working together as a team.

Carving through any pathway.

It has the ability to create valleys and river deltas.

Millions of water drops working as a team is one of the most powerful things in life.

Same as if your cells inside your body work as a team.

It can also be one of the most powerful things in life.

And as we begin to come back into our bodies,

Feeling if our bodies of mood have been displaced during this meditation,

Just regathering your cells,

Coming back into the moment and moving our fingers and toes,

Just bringing some movement in,

Waking ourselves back up.

When you're ready,

Opening your eyes,

Coming into this moment with a sense of freshness and a new perspective on your life and your journey.

Thank you for listening to this meditation.

Great visualisation and accompanying sounds 👍. Very relaxing and I got a thought popped into head at the end -“go with the flow” just like the stream . Thank you

I did this right after the emotional eating meditation- as it brought up root chakra/safety emotions. It was such a beautiful release. Thank you so much.
