Hello everyone,
Welcome to this healing appreciation meditation for your neck.
A meditation where we will gain healing,
Relaxation and appreciation for all of the wonderful things your neck does for you on a daily basis.
The act of appreciation can immensely benefit you and your neck,
Providing healing and promoting overall wellness.
This is true for the general health of your neck,
But also if your neck has been through trauma.
Seeing things in a different light and treating your neck and yourself with more kindness can produce a natural powerful healing effect.
So just bringing yourself down into this moment.
Beginning to let go of the day's responsibilities or the responsibilities to come.
They're not needed for now.
You are here in this very moment,
In your safe space,
Comfortable and secure.
Continuing to release within this space,
To let go.
Bringing this sense of letting go up to your neck,
A vital area of your body.
Allow this area to sink into the surrounding environment.
The neck sinks and softens,
Relaxing it down.
Maybe it's supported by a pillow or just supported by your upper body.
Let it sink down,
Unclenching this area.
Notice that it has done so many things for you.
Providing support and stability to the head and brain.
The neck is the connector to the higher functioning of your system.
It contains the vocal cords,
Giving you the ability to speak and important glands such as the thyroid.
Appreciate this wonderful area of the body,
This vital area.
Sending it appreciative energy now,
Filling up the neck with kindness,
Noticing the sensations in and around it.
There could be comfort or discomfort,
Coldness or hotness.
Just notice,
It is okay.
Whatever comes up,
Allowing it to be here in this moment.
Allowing the neck the freedom it deserves.
It knows what to do,
Trust this intelligent area of the body.
As you allow your neck freedom,
Know that it has millions of nerve cells within,
Sending messages to the brain and back to the body every second of the day.
Protecting you from danger,
Keeping you safe.
Appreciating these nerves within your neck,
Sending them appreciation for keeping you safe,
Sinking into the safety that they provide for you.
As you sink into safeness,
Know that there is blood flowing through your neck in every instance,
Carried by veins and major arteries.
They nourish the neck cells with vital nutrients,
Giving them comfort and a life force.
They provide you with complete nourishment for your wellness and health.
Appreciate the blood supply of the neck,
Keeping you healthy,
Well and alive.
Sending huge appreciation to this area.
Allow your neck to fully let go now.
Fully rest as the neck lets go and lets be.
As you rest,
Say to your neck area,
I appreciate you,
I appreciate you,
I appreciate you.
Now as this meditation comes to an end,
Know that without the neck,
Life wouldn't be the same.
Now just waking yourself back up with this thought.
Letting go of any last tension within your neck or your whole system.
Coming back to the world,
Waking,
Waking,
Waking.
