Meet your Teacher

Steven Webb is a meditation teacher and former mayor who has dedicated his life to helping others find peace in difficult times. Paralysed from the neck down after a diving accident at the age of 18, Steven has spent more than three decades living with pain and navigating a world not designed for him. Through this experience, he discovered that peace does not depend on a silent mind or a perfect life but on presence, compassion, and awareness. His teachings draw from Zen traditions and contemporary practice, offering clear and practical guidance for meeting life’s challenges with calm and clarity.

Thank you for these beautiful simple meditations which are not complicated and I can relate to again and again during the day. Reminding me to choose joy, kindness and just breathe when things are very difficult. My body is a bit broken by having part of my tongue and lymph notes cut out and constant challenges since my dear husband died but life renews and my two wee grandchildren remind me of the joy in the simple things all the time . I will listen again as they helped me relax at night and I fell asleep during some of them which was wonderful !
