Over five days, you’ll use gentle movement, focused breath, and guided reflection to explore (and experience) how you want to feel before, during, and after the event in question. Drawing on tools from Sophrology and other mind-body practices, this course helps you build a felt sense of readiness from the inside out. Bring a pen and some paper to support your reflections along the way.


Meet your Teacher

Marianne de Kleer is a certified sophrologist and creative mindfulness guide, whose approach centers on mind-body integration through intentional somatic movement, breath, and visualization. She helps people cultivate more joy, presence, and ease by guiding them to connect more deeply with themselves. Through expanded self-awareness and a compassionate approach, they learn to explore their inner world with openness and kindness. As a Canadian living in the French countryside, Marianne finds inspiration in the vivid beauty and simple delights of her surroundings.

Lesson 1

Setting The Scene

In this opening lesson, you’ll begin by identifying the event you’re preparing for and gently acknowledging any tension, fear, or uncertainty that may be present. Through a combination of reflective journaling and a guided somatic release practice, you’ll start tuning into your internal landscape and developing self-awareness around how you truly want to feel before, during, and after your event. You’ll need a notebook or paper for the journal prompts provided.

After The Event

Connect with your desired outcome before the event even takes place. You’ll use journaling, movement, and visualization to access feelings of success and ease now, by grounding your body and mind in confidence and calm. Bring your notes from Day 1 and find a quiet space for gentle movement and reflection.

Before The Event

In this lesson, you’ll focus on the moments leading up to your event. Through breathwork and gentle movement, you’ll learn to clear tension and anchor confidence in your body. A guided visualization and reflection will help you embody the emotional state you want to carry in, so when the moment comes, your body already knows the way. Bring your notes and a quiet space for practice.

During The Event

Today, you will visualize yourself fully present, engaged, and steady during the event. Whether you’re preparing for a performance, a conversation, or a personal milestone, this practice guides you to embody your “during” intentions through breathwork, visualization, and mindful awareness. This mental rehearsal not only activates the body’s nervous system in helpful ways, it strengthens your ability to respond, adapt, and trust yourself in the moment. Bring your notes and a quiet space for gentle movement and reflection.

Living The Full Event

This final lesson guides you through the entire arc of your event. You’ll move from the moments before it begins, through the experience itself, and into the feeling of completion afterward. You’ll start by choosing three grounding words that reflect how you want to feel at each stage. With gentle movement and a guided visualization, you’ll bring those words into your body and your awareness. This full walk-through lets you feel the outcome in advance, so your system knows what to return to when it matters most. You’ll need your notes and a quiet space for gentle movement and reflection.
