Understanding The 8 Limbs Of Yoga

With Heidi Aemisegger

This is a 12-day course on the 8 Limbs of Yoga according to Patanjali. Whether you are already familiar with yoga philosophy or a newbie, this course will give you a new and in-depth understanding of what it really means and what impact it can have on your life. I offer you simple and practical examples that you can integrate into your daily life and are easy to practice. We will also chant the Yoga Sutras word for word as traditionally done and talk about the meaning of each word. It is certainly helpful to have your own book on the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali. Allow the eightfold path to start a great transformative process in your life. You will then see yourself and the world around you with new eyes. Go deep inside and allow the transformation to unfold within you.

I learned a lot of things that I previously had no knowledge of in this course. It was a little confusing to follow at first but it quickly gets easier once I learned the style of English Heidi uses. I would recommend it to anyone wanting to know more about yoga. She teaches the fundamentals. A great starting point.

After years of practicing the poses of yoga each morning before or after I meditate, I find myself drawn to learning about the eight limbs of yoga. Heidi’s course was what I was drawn to and I can’t wait to listen to it again.

Heidi rocks! She walks on water!! What a marvelous course on a difficult topic. I am awed by Heidi’s grasp of the subject and by her scholarship. Highly recommend this course to everyone. If I can say one thing that could be better is that the 8 limbs could be explained even more, perhaps by creating a longer course. I may be wrong, but I feel the lessons were very condensed and simplified. Hopefully Heidi considers expanding the course. Regardless, my admiration for Heidi is immense. Namaste.
