Hello,
My name is Heidi Emezeker and today we are going to do a meditation together to find out how we can gift ourselves with time and care and loving kindness.
It is clear that we are going through some challenging times.
Restrictions,
Structures falling apart,
Insecurities and fear rising.
What a year!
Therefore,
It is really important that you give yourself enough time to draw your energy in and make yourself strong.
What do I mean by drawing your energy in?
It means that you have enough time set aside for yourself.
In this time make sure you sit in silence ideally at the beginning and at the end of a day to have a small meditation practice every day.
If you have a very busy life I suggest also you take in the middle of the day a moment for yourself wherever you are.
And it is important to learn to listen to your own impulses and to the voice of your heart to detect your path and to make the right decisions.
When there is much turbulence in the outer world we need to anchor in our inner world.
This silent time can also be in a forest or a walk along a river,
An ocean,
A lake,
Wherever you can connect with nature.
But it is important to do it alone.
Walking helps us to digest what we experience continuously and we need this digestion,
Which is like an emptying out process,
To be able to hear and feel the new which awaits us.
I would like to quote Sri Brahmanda Saraswati here,
You don't need to practice every day,
But if you need your practice,
You're glad you practiced every day.
You don't need to practice every day,
But if you need your practice,
You're glad you practiced every day.
When do we need our practice?
We need our practice when the chaos around us is throwing us out of center and out of balance.
So the practice you build up regularly over a long period of time will act as a floor underneath you and will give you the stability to stand strong in times of difficulties,
Fear and anxieties.
So give yourself the gift of practice every day,
Even if something little,
But every day.
And the benefit of this action you will feel in your daily life and especially when you go through difficult times.
So let's sit a while in silence together to practice this deep listening,
Spending time to get to know yourself better,
To be present with yourself.
And when a thought arise,
Just let it pass through.
Gifting yourself with awareness is gifting yourself with love.
Sometimes,
When the thought about yourself,
It's like you're surrounded by thoughts And visualize yourself like a tree growing deeper into the ground,
Growing your roots deeper into the ground,
To become more stable and more strong bit by bit,
Moment by moment.
And then reaching upwards with your consciousness,
Opening yourself to the exchange with the Source,
To the exchange with the Universe.
And therefore also loading your batteries,
Refilling.
The refilling can happen in two different ways.
You can visualize that the light,
The energy from the Sun is coming down,
You're taking it in like nourishment.
On the other direction of refilling you can visualize the roots of this tree,
Which you are drawing liquids and nourishment from the Earth,
And reloading,
Recharging.
And then you can visualize that the light is coming down,
And you're recharging,
Recharging the water.
And then gift yourself with the affirmation for the coming day,
I'm full,
I'm complete,
I have everything I need for this day,
I'm full,
I'm complete,
I have everything I need for this day.
And allow yourself to feel the gratitude,
The gratitude that you will be guided in the right way,
That you will make the right decision,
You will say the right words,
You will choose wisely,
And you will create more peace and loving kindness around you.
